The Scottish Borders region

The village of Coldingham is a very popular holiday destination with lots of activities and places to visit nearby. Coldingham beach is an award winning beach with a seasonal beach café and water sports including surfing. There are also many other local beaches including Pease Bay which are well worth a visit. For walkers there are many beautiful walks nearby including the Berwickshire coastal path, St Abbs Head Nature reserve and the Southern Upland Way.

Coldingham is close to the stunning fishing village of St Abbs which is a world famous diving destination and boasts a wonderful nature reserve.

The fishing town of Eyemouth is just a five minutes drive from the cottage where you can visit the seals in the harbour and enjoy fish and chips and award winning ice cream. There is also a golf course in Eyemouth and swimming pool. No visit to Eyemouth would be complete with a visit to Gunsgreen House where you can learn about the history of smuggling.
