The South East England region
East Anglia is known as the area of 'big skies', partly due to it's reputation for being very flat, but anyone who has visited this corner of the region will know that the undulating fields which lead down to the river valleys have a real charm. The beaches of Essex and the Suffolk heritage coast are exceptional is their beauty and diversity. The charming Essex and Suffolk villages are steeped in history and old world charm, with somewhere different to explore every day.
The area around the River Colne estuary is known for it's exceptional beauty and wildlife. Waters Reach looks over the river and has a private access directly to the sea wall, where the estuary birds and sunsets can be seen at first hand. Fingrinhoe wildlife reserve is located on the other side of the river and the nearby town of Wivenhoe, boasts friendly pubs and numerous restaurants. The National cycle trail is minutes from the property and numerous beaches are a short drive away. The well-known Constable country of Suffolk, made famous by the painter John Constable is within a 15minute drive. London is just 1hour by train from Wivenhoe station where all the famous sights can be found.
