V4 Moinho Azoia; idyllic, rustic mill, equipped for 9 people, located at the most western point of Europe.

The mill is situated in the peaceful “ Parque Natural de Sintra-Cascais”, on the edge of a small village by the name of Azóia. From the windows of the 1st Floor of the annexed house of the mill, you can directly overlook the Cabo da Roca, the most western point of mainland Europe. Start your day with calm and wonderful hike beginning right outside the front door, always directly along the Atlantic Ocean. Or take a 15 to the Guincho beach, where you will encounter famous surfers, windsurfers and kite surfers.

Maybe you prefer to visit also the palaces and castles of Sintra's fairytale or take a day trip into the 2nd-oldest capital city in Europe, Lisbon. Mediterranean flair can be found in the little town of Cascais, 14 km away, or right next to Cascais is Estoril, well known for its casino.

The mill consists of the old mill house and a new extension.

The large living room offers ample space for all guests. The cozy seating area in front of the original fireplace invites you to relax. The dining table comfortably sits 8 people.

But a particular highlight is the huge eat-in kitchen with a big old dining table for 12 people. The kitchen is equipped with stove, oven, microwave, washing machine and American fridge.

The upper area is accessed via a steep staircase with adjoining gallery.

The house has 4 bedrooms, which can comfortably sleep 8 people.

The bedroom1is on the ground floor in the renovated mill house, it is equipped with a double bed. From the bedroom you have direct access to the bathroom equipped with a shower.

The bedroom2 is located on the 1st floor of the mill house with a bathroom en suite, equipped also with a shower.

Bedroom 3 is located behind the eat-in-kitchen, it is equipped with 2 single beds, and is separated from the corridor by a curtain. There is also the 3rd Bathroom with a spacious shower.

At the end of the hallway is a further living space, especially suitable for television. From this room you enter directly into the garden.

Bedroom 4 is on the 1st Floor of the new renovation and is equipped with 2 single beds. Also this room is separated by a curtain. However, this bedroom has another living room with a fantastic view over the Atlantic and a narrow spiral staircase that leads directly into the kitchen. From this living room you come directly into the hall that leads to the terrace with views over the beautiful countryside.

The mill is equipped with central heating (extra charge).

The mill is surrounded by a large terrace with a barbecue area and a partially wild garden.

The Central Portugal region

Lisbon is Europe's second-oldest capital (after Athens), once home to the world greatest explorers like Vasco da Gama, Magellan and Prince Henry, the Navigator, becoming the first true world city, the capital of an empire spreading over all continents from South America (Brasil) to Asia (Macau, China; Goa, India).

One of Europe's most southful captivating, and picturesque capitals, built on a series of hills with scenic vistas from every angle. A charming visual time-warp with vintage trams and medieval village-like neighbourhoods. The city of the oceans, the only European capital with sunsets on the sea, so close to sandy beaches and with one of the world's largest state-of-the art aquariums.

It's a compact and intimate city, ideal for a short city break or a longer romantic stay, with a lively café culture and a nightlife that is one of the most vibrant in Europe. Its surroundings offer an incredible variety of tourist attractions, from fairytale palaces in one of Europe's most romantic towns (Sintra), to world class golf and fun in Europe's largest casino in Estoril, to surfing or kite surfing at Guincho, or escaping to a natural park in Arrábida, to dolphin-watching in Sétubal.
