The Lombardy / Lake Garda Area
Lake Garda is the largest and deepest lake in Italy. There is the beautiful and ancient town of Sirmione to the South of the lake and there are the sulphur springs at the tip of the peninsula, which are supposed to be bear the power of healing.
The Lake Garda area in general is blanketed in bars, restaurants and beautiful scenery. The weather is obviously more temperate as the Lake is located in the North but it is rarely cold, especially in the Summer.

Cola area
The village of Colà, within the area of Lazise lies in the hills above the lake. It is a typical north Italian village that has preserved its rural charm, which could also be due to the fact that it remains largely untouched by the influx of tourists.
Entirely new are the thermal baths, a luxurious unit in the extensive park of an old villa with a large natural lake (37 degree Centigrade water temperature). Authentic Italy offers self catering holiday apartments and villas around all parts of Lake Garda or cottages in the countryside of Italy.

You can get cheap Ryanair flights from West Midlands Airport and London Stansted to Bergamo, which is the nearest airport to the Lake Garda area.
