The Cottage Formerly a Stable has been lovingly restored to provide comfortable and rustic accommodation with hot & cold Air conditioning and offers far-reaching views towards the local mountains and the Sierra Nevada beyond. The surrounding countryside is covered with tracks, making it an ideal spot for those who enjoy country walks. The property is in a rural spot, along an unmade country lane (dirt track) yet only 1 Kilometre away from the local By-pass, which takes you into Marbella in about 20 minutes and Malaga Airport in about 40 minutes.
Finca La Cuadra is a must for nature lovers. It is located in a beautiful part of the Andalucian countryside, which is covered with a large variety of wild flowers and herbs, including Lavender, Thyme and Sage and makes it a natural habitat for Partridge. It consists of 17.000 square metres (4 Acres)of rural land and the Cottage is in a fenced area of about 3.000 square metres(1 Acre approx), which contains some mature Olive trees and a variety of young fruit trees, e.g. Orange, lemons and avocados.
DRINKING WATER at the Cottage is the best mineral water in this area and drinkable. It is pump-up from our sealed well, which has a borehole 500 feet deep below the earth and filtered naturally.
THE POOL is private and for your sole use and it is fenced all around. The property is totally self-contained with own gates and parking area. If you should need any help? Don’t worry the owners are not far away.

The Costa del Sol/Malaga region
Winter temperaures range from 16 - 20 Deg C. and Summer temperatures average about 35 Deg C. The famous White Villages and Lakes, are not far away from Finca La Cuadra and are worth exploring. The stylish Marina 'Puerto Banus' is only a 30-minute drive. Granada and the amazing Alhambra Palace is a 2 hour drive.
Coin / Sierra de Los Angeles area
The nearest towns are Coin and Ahaurin-El-Grande, which are about 5 and 10 minutes drive. Both Towns have lots of Supermarkets, Shops, Banks and also an Open-Air Market once a week.
COIN: Situated in the valley of the Rio Grande in the province of Malaga, Coín is one of the most up and coming villages on the Costa del Sol. This once small village is expanding at an amazing pace and is fast becoming a place of residence for many foreigners. There are about 20,000 registered residents.
Coín is located about a 30-minutes drive from Fuengirola and 25 minutes from Mijas. Coín also houses and important ceramics factory, located on the main road from Fuengirola and a working film studio that was once the set for the TV series‘El dorado’. The studio is located on the outskirts of Coín, alongside the main highway to Marbella. The studio is also used as a hotel and restaurant
The centre of Coín has a wonderful plaza where the old Town Hall is located and local residents sit and while away the hours. The new Town Hall is located in another new plaza with an underground car park, fountains, gardens and several fine bars. The small, narrow streets are lined with family owned shops. A new commercial centre, ‘La Trocha’ has been built on the outskirts of town. It is located on the road to Cartama and contains numerous department stores including Dunnes, various food outlets including Burger King.

This consists of: fresh milk, fresh orange juice, water, coffee, tea bags, sugar, bread, margarine, jam or marmalade, cereal, mixed fruit, beer, lemonade, jar of olives, bottle white wine and a bottle red white or if you would like something specific for your arrival just let us know.
Further details outdoors: There is a terrace with a pergola (Honeysucle and Jasmin), table, 4 chairs with cushions and a BBQ. This is where you can spend some time reading, having a meal or simply enjoying the scenery. For those long hot summer days, you have your own 8m x 4m Private swimming pool with Roman steps. (Depth from 1.2m to 1.6m) The pool is fitted with night lights.
2 sun-loungers, 2 reclining lounge chairs all with cushions, table and chairs and 2 parasols are provided for relaxation.
There are several large olive trees for sitting in the shade as well as other areas around the cottage.

CHILDREN: The Cottage and surrounds is not suitable for very young children. We can only accept children over 10 years of age.
PETS: Sorry, no pets of any sort.
SMOKING: Smoking is only permitted in the terrace and grounds
Conditions
50% deposit of the total rental is payable on booking (Non Refundable). The Deposit Payment is by Bank transfer.
We also offer guests the choice of paying the deposit by Credit Card/PayPal. Payment by Credit Card/PayPal is subject to a surcharge of 4.0%, which equates to the amount we are charged for accepting such payment.
The balance for the retal is payable in Cash-Euros on arrival at the property.
SECURITY DEPOSIT: £150 or 200 euro security deposit against damages will also be taken on arrival in cash - Refundable on the day you leave.

Dear Joe and Jan. We just wanted to write and say what a lovely place Finca La Cuadra is, and what a wonderful week we had there. As we told you, we have rented many villas in Spain over the years, but without doubt La Cuadra is the nicest one we have ever stayed in. Not only is it a beautiful villa, but the pool, gardens and views are all perfect. And we needn't have brought half the things we did with us, it was all provided! You were incredibly generous with the welcome pack - it was enough to last us the whole week! We really can't find fault with the place, and you were both very kind and helpful. We will often imagine ourselves sitting by the pool looking out over the mountains, as we drag ourselves into work in the rush-hour. We look forward to our next visit! Debbie and Glenn Marshall.
