Blissful holiday Finca in the hills with large (11x4m), deep, filtered private swimming pool and truly breathtaking views of the Sierra Los Nieves and white villages in the distance.
The villa is set in a large (4200 square metre/1 acre) irrigated mature country garden with oak, pine and olive trees, citrus fruits, palms and cactus. It is divided into an upper level spacious cottage for a couple, and a lower level large apartment for a couple or older children. Both levels with their own covered terraces and separate entrances.
Guests have exclusive occupancy of the house and its pool and garden. This property would suit 2 couples who want to holiday together but have separate accommodation in the lower apartment, or a family with an older child.
Located off the Coin-Mijas road at the end of a country track. Therefore, it is secluded yet still enjoys very easy acess (just a few minutes drive) to local towns (Alhaurin el Grande and Coin), shops and restaurants.
Golf, horse riding, nature reserves, all 5 minutes drive. The beach is a 20-30 minute drive away.
Upper level cottage has a double bedroom (double bed) with air-conditioning; bathroom (with shower, bidet & washing machine); fully equipped kitchen; living/dining room with air-conditioning, free English and Spanish TV, DVD player; large covered patio looking out to the pool and hills/valley. Outdoor dining furniture. charcoal barbecue. (charcoal can be bought at garages & supermarkets).
Lower level apartment has a double bedroom (double bed), ensuite bathroom (with shower), kitchen/dining area and a large covered patio looking out to hills/valley.
Not suitable for young children.
Malaga airport 30 minutes drive. Marbella, Puerto Banus, Fuengirola, and Mijas all within 30-40 minutes.
Well placed for day trips to Granada, Cordoba, Seville, Ronda, on good main roads.

The villa is built on two levels: a spacious one double bedroom cottage on the upper level, and a large double bedroom ensuite apartment on the rear lower level built into the rock foundations. Holiday lets have sole and exclusive use of the whole villa, and all the private fenced grounds and pool.

The villa is divided into an upper level spacious cottage with covered front patio and a side terrace,and a lower level large apartment with covered terrace. Both have their own entrances and lovely views. Holiday renters have sole and exclusive use of the whole property and its private grounds and pool.
The Andalucia region
The Costa del Sol enjoys 300 days of sunshine a year, and rarely rains between March & September.
There are around 70 Costa del Sol golf courses on the "Costa del Golf" which can be played all year round There is a whole range of other activities available such as sailing, watersports, horseriding, biking, spas etc.
Away from the coast there are numerous excursions into the real Spain with the town of Ronda & the cities of Seville, Cordoba and Granada all accessible on good roads for day tours. For the more adventurous you can also take a 15km trip across the Straits of Gibraltar to visit Tangier in Morocco.
Alhaurin el Grande and Coin are towns located in the province of Málaga in Andalucia in southern Spain, 30 km. from the provincial capital, and at 239 meters above the sea level. They have lots of amenities whilst retaining their picturesque old town character in the Guadalhorce river valley.
Almost all the town streets are narrow and winding which adds to the town's character.
The coast is close by, with Mijas just along a winding road round the mountain, and Fuengirola 20 minutes drive on a good new road. Marbella-Cartama junction is within a few minutes drive from cottage.
The rolling hills and wide open spaces give a feeling of space from all around the town. From Alhaurín there is a lovely view over the "Hoya de Málaga", Málaga's valley, full of lemon trees and other fruit trees, which together look like a vast carpet. The house looks down on Alhaurin El Grande and distant Malaga bay on one side, and the eastern end of Coin (El Rodeo) on the other side.
Around the area are some of the finest Alhaurin Golf courses in Europe, many have hotel, restaurant and spa facilities. The closest courses are Alhaurin Golf & Country Club, Mijas Golf Club, Lauro Golf Club and Torrequebrada Golf.
Around Alhaurin el Grande & Coin there are activities like exploring the countryside, horse treks in local forests or along the Rio Grande. Tasting amazing spanish tapas and attending many cultural activities like jazz, flamenco, international food or art festivals, and Spanish Pure Bred Horse Displays. The lakes of El Chorro are a 30 minute drive.
Try the local cuisine of Alhaurin el Grande and Coin, where there are many excellent restaurants. Or the beach for BBQ sardines and fish paellas.

"Perfect place to get away from it all."
Fantastic 2 week holiday in the peace and quiet. The villa is at the end of track, 5 minutes from the main road. As a result, we were never saw anyone. The nearest houses are quite a way away. Great facilities such as the BBQ area and eating outside with stunning views of the mountains whilst watching the sun set. The swimming pool is of very good size. An excellent extra is the apartment which is for 2 people which is part of the house and the guests can have sole use of.
20 minutes to the supermarkets in Coin and 10 minutes from a garage which sells English newspapers if required. 30 minutes to Marbella and Puerto Benus. Excellent communication with the owner.
I would totally recommend the villa and we hope to be back.

"Pure peace and tranquility at this stunning and wonderfully private villa!"
11/10 if you desire a peaceful, private and totally relaxing holiday!!!
My partner and I stayed here in September 2011. We chose the villa, as we wanted a relaxing, quiet holiday, but to be close enough by car to visit lots of places within short distances. The villa exceeded our expectations, it was a wonderful place to stay. The views from the villa are just spectacular, especially at sunset. The villa is the last on the road so you have no noise from cars or neighbours. You are totally private and feel totally shut off from the outside world, whereas in reality the outside world is a 5 minute drive down the lane....therefore the best of both worlds we felt.
We used the main house as there were only 2 of us, however, the studio flat that forms part of the main house is also lovely and perfect if you are 2 couples or a family with teenage children etc so that you have your own privacy and facilities on hand. The grounds/ gardens and pool are wonderful, typically Spanish rural and well presented. The large pool is fabulous and you can appreciate the magnificent views whilst swimming on a gloriously hot day! We used the BBQ a number of times also.
The villa is just as described on the website, spotless, all modern facilities and a real home from home. The main house is spacious enough for a small family and comfortable, the air con is a welcome necessity! The villa is situated within a 10 minute drive to local villages where there are supermarkets, shops and traditional restaurants and bars. It took us 25 minutes drive to the beach and 45 minutes to the airport. A car is a must when staying at this property.
Communication between owner and myself was excellent, they could not do enough for me! Thankyou. We will be definitely booking again, we just wished we had booked for longer than 1 week on our last visit, as it was so relaxing and beautiful.
The best aspects:
Location, views, gardens, privacy, comfort, facilities, relaxation, proximity to local ameneties by car.
The worst: Nothing negative to comment on at all!
