"Gorgeous, romantic retreat"
What a wonderful little find! We have been meaning to write this review for some time as our stay at the casita was truly delightful.
After a troubled start with fears over the awful fires speading across the region and then having our hire car broken into and our hand luggage (including passport, work phones and car keys for the car sat at the airport...) stolen whilst in the supermarket (in Malaga) we arrived rather exhausted at the casita. Fortunately we were thrilled with what we found, it was immaculate, had all the mod cons one would not usually expect in a small villa and was in the most idyllic location. Here we virtually stayed for the entire week!
We had planned to visit lots of places my partner had not visited before but in the end a couple of trips back to Malalga to sort the passport at the embassy and another to the police station allowed for a stroll around the old town and Picasso gallery. Then a trip to the white washed town of Mijas and one of the smaller beaches sufficed. Instead we cooked delicious meals, lay by the pool and read. Utterly perfect for our needs.
The casita itself is very isolated with only one larger house next door and a farm and a few houses down the road. It is certainly not in walking distance of any amenities. This suited us perfectly as we loved the peace but some may not like this isolation. However the standard of the property is excellent and the fact that it was 10 minutes to several towns and then less than an hour to the larger cities was a real plus.
The only difficulty we had was with the directions as anticipated by the owners! Perhaps a clearer set of instructions may help future guests but having been there I recognise how difficult this may be. Maybe a re-jig for easier following?? I'm very lucky to have a partner who is a geography lover and loves maps which was pretty essential in this case!
We will most certainly be back. Thank you.

"Wonderful retreat in the hills but within easy reach of coast and country"
Booking process for this property was very easy. Owners friendly and helpful and were happy to adjust my booking when I had to re-schedule holiday due to family illness. Casita beautiful inside and out. Lots of outside space to enjoy with gorgeous views and a stunning pool. Breakfast on the ample terrace was a joy. Very convenient location for Malaga Airport (car needed), yet within easy reach of the coast and beautiful inland villages and national parks. Variety of places to eat, and purchase provisions, nearby. Just been here for a second time and it will not be our last. Perfect for a couple. Best memory would be opening the bedroom french windows in the morning and listening to the birds!

"A BILL WITHERS MOMENT - JUST THE TWO OF US!!!"
This Casita is the ideal retreat for a Couple wanting peace and tranquility. It offers everything that you would need for a romantic escape. From the lounge, kitchen, bedroom, en-suite bathroom and indoor fascilities everything is catered for including basic Sky TV. The outside area is excellent with a fine dining area and a plunge pool to die for after too much sun (even in October), The privacy is only surpassed by the excellent views in all directions of the Campo and Guadalhorce valley. We have been in several types of accomodation in the Malaga area and this is up there with the best. That first feeling you get when you enter a well maintained and clean property did not dissapoint and the small welcome pack was appreciated for a late arrival. From first contact to departure the owners were first class. We will be back!!!!!!!
