Outside there are eating areas and sunloungers, very private and secluded. Ideal for either holidaying, short breaks, or house hunting. A wonderful area with stunning sceanery, beautiful views, and tranquil walks through the forest.

There are beaches approx 40 km away not only Figueira da Foz, but only 8kms south of Foz, are the smaller but not so busy beaches of Costa de Lavos,and Leirosa, where you can see the Fishermen hauling their boats on to the beach, being surrounded by the locals all eager to buy the catch of the day. If you follow any of the mountain roads around the area, you will see breathtaking views, places to picnic, and walks to soak up the atmosphere. In the winter you can drive to the Serra da Estrela, where there is skiing snowboarding and sledging. At the mountain shops you can buy local cheeses, hams and locally made garments... Coimbra / Vila Nova de Poiares areaCoimbra is the nearest city, only 20mins away, with great shopping complexes, or traditional shops with winding cobbled streets in the city centre. The Mondago river runs through the city, with parks and restaurants along its banks, you can take a boat trip and see the sights from the river, or stroll along the rivers edge and take in the views. Poiares is in a great location in the midst of a variety of local attractions, such as the bucaco palace and grounds, now a hotel and restaurant with beautiful walks and a military museum. There are many river beaches nearby where it is safe to swim and enjoy a picnic.Also there are tourists signs that you can follow and will find, many sights and places of interest. How to get there  
Budget airlines Ryanair, Easyjet and TAP, fly from most British Airports to both Porto and Lisbon. Easy rail links to Coimbra Station, or Car hire is readily available at both Airports. With motorway access making the journey by car easy. Full details of directions to Vista da Floresta will be sent on conformation of booking. Owner would be willing to pick up from Porto Airport or from Coimbra Station at additional cost sent with deposit.
