The house has three double bedrooms with an en suite and balcony to the master bedroom. There is a large living room with a wood burning fire and also a large well equipped kitchen/diner. A sprial staircase from the living room leads to a games room with a full size table tennis table, pool table and darts board. There is also a kitchen area equipped with a cooker, drinks fridge and washing machine. There is also the benefit of a wet room with shower and toilet,
Doors from the games room open up to the patio area, which is ideal for entertaining, a garden and the outdoor swimming pool. The sunny south facing garden is stocked with flowers, plants and olive, orange and lemon trees. Immediately behind the house are woods and to the front of the house are views of the hills and forests which surround the local area,

The Costa de Prata/Silver Coast region
The Costa de Prata/Silver Coast region has many places of interest and has varied scenery from the mountains to the beach and the sea, Coimbra is a vibrant university city situated a 20 minute scenic drive away from the property. It is situated on the Mondego River with walks through gardens and the narrow streets of this historic and cultural city. There are plenty of restaurants riverside bars and excellent shopping malls. There are roman ruins and mosaics at Conimmbriga 20km. Figueira da Foz is situated within a 40 minute drive and the Atlantic promenade with an excellent beach is not to be missed.
Coimbra / Vila Nova de Poiares area
The local market town of Vila Nova de Poiares has a backdrop of stunning mountains leading to valleys with crystal clear rivers running through. There are good shopping facilities including banks, cafes and local restaurants, An outdoor market is held here once a week on a Monday morning. There is a coach station with regular services to Coimbra.

Cheap flights from Bristol, Birmingham ( from 20.6.08), Liverpool and Stanstead to Porto via RyanAir. Please note it is advisable to book the flights as early as possible. Car hire from Airport recommended. Detailed directions sent with receipt of deposit.
