"Great Place to chill out"

Peaceful and serene, lovely walks. Easily accessible to Chateaneuf 4kms for shops and bars. Check out for restaurants open on Sundays or try the the Gabardier pub on river (on the way to St. Simeux , always open ! No internet in house but excellent free internet available in local library in Chateaneuf and great supermarket there also. Dont miss out on the 3 bridges river walks . To visit Jarnac, Angouleme or Cognac try the M141 via Malleville, its a straightforward route from Le Presbytere. Would I revisit ? - Absolutely !!

"Lovely riverside location"

" Le Presbytere offers good accommodation and a great base to explore the area. A rural retreat yet within easy reach of Cognac and many other places.
The Charente region is beautiful - lovely river walks and villages that are genuinely unspoilt. Ideal for fishing, cycling, walking or simply relaxing. We would certainly come to the Presbytery again."
