The triple aspect living/dining room has exposed beams and the kitchen has just been completely refitted. The bathroom suite is on the ground floor. The large master bedroom offers plenty of space complete with 19th century wardrobe and dressing table along with a book shelf with lots of choice. The bedroom is able to accommodate a single put up bed for children or a travel cot for younger visitors.

Outside the cottage is a lawned area offering guests a table and chairs to sit and watch the world go by.
Smoking is permitted outside the property only. Private parking is available next to the cottage.
A fishing lake is situated opposite the property where guests can fish for a reduced rate. If you wish to fish please let us know in advance and we can arrange a day permit.
We have a 'put up' bed or travel cot for children under the age of 10 (approx). The main bedroom is large enough to accommodate this.
A complimentary, well stocked welcome tray is provided on arrival.

This fantastic region has plenty of National Trust properties, Ickworth House is just 6 miles from the cottage.
The university city of Cambridge is a great day for shopping, museums and punting on the river Cam.
Thetford forest is great for walks or cycle hire and for the more active 'Go Ape' treetop adventure course.
The world famous Newmarket Race Course is just 20 minutes from the cottage.
Locally there are lovely farm shops, tea rooms and antique shops.
We have a full stock of leaflets and information of great ideas of what to do and where to go on the welcome table in the cottage.
