The accommodation has gas central heating and comprises: Lounge: With LCD TV, DVD, CD, radio and open fire (logs provided). Conservatory/Dining Room: With views over garden and woodland. Kitchen: With electric cooker, washer/dryer, dishwasher, fridge, freezer and microwave.

All fuel, towels and bed linen provided.  Cot available. Wi-fi access available, it works in some rooms but not in others, but you just need to key in the code to get online.  

The Cumbria/Lake District

Cockermouth

The town of Cockermouth is just three miles away that has delicious restaurants, shops and pubs along with a variety of attractions including the castle, Isel Hall and Wordsworth house for those who like to delve into a bit of history. There are also plenty of stunning lakes dotted near to Cockermouth which are definitely worth a visit. The size of the Western Lake District ensures that visitors will always find something to do in this beautiful spot and of course, plenty of outdoor activities to suit everyone from walking and cycling to horse riding and swinging from trees at Go Ape! There are many more different outdoor activities to try – you have to visit to believe it! Other attractions include the Honister Slate Mine and a handful of museums where visitors can delve into the history. Attractions that the whole family will enjoy include an aquarium and The Gincase – a farm with many different animals to learn about! The Western Lake District is a truly magnificent and stunning area that serves as a picturesque and fun filled place to enjoy your holiday!
