Stunning views can also be seen from this room providing a fantastic place to sit, relax and simply take in the wonderful scenery. The bedrooms are of an outstanding quality as they are bright, spacious and airy and are stunningly presented. The master bedroom also has an en-suite bathroom for ultimate luxury. The beautiful gardens serve as a delightful area to sit out, relax and dine alfresco with the barbecue which is also provided. Or for when the weather is cooler, why not have a game of table tennis which is set up in the garage!

The cottage is south facing, has under floor heating, double glazing and comprises of: Lounge: With open views, open fire with Victorian cast iron surround, colour TV, DVD, video, CD/radio and French windows to the garden. Dining/Kitchen: With electric oven and hob, fridge, freezer, washer/dryer, dishwasher and microwave. Bedroom 1: Single bedroom/dayroom with colour TV. Cloakroom: With WC and hand basin.

All electric, oil, initial supply of coal, bed linen and towels provided. Cot, high chair, stairgate and telephone available. Wi-fi broadband available.

Other areas to discover include the Eden Valley, Cartmel peninsula, south east Cumbria and the Carlisle and Hadrian's Wall area; all equally beautiful and very handy for day trips into the lakes.

Cockermouth

Lamplugh is a quiet, peaceful village which serves as a lovely, relaxing get away with a superb pub just a mile away which is perfect for a glass of wine on an evening and a bite to eat. Lamplugh is also located near to a couple of idyllic, beautiful lakes which are well worth a visit and it serves as a great base to explore the vast area of the Western Lake District. The size of the Western Lake District ensures that visitors will always find something to do in this beautiful spot and of course, plenty of outdoor activities to suit everyone from walking and cycling to horse riding and swinging from trees at Go Ape! There are many more different outdoor activities to try – you have to visit to believe it! Other attractions include the Honister Slate Mine and a handful of museums where visitors can delve into the history. Attractions that the whole family will enjoy include an aquarium and The Gincase – a farm with many different animals to learn about! The Western Lake District is a truly magnificent and stunning area that serves as a picturesque and fun filled place to enjoy your holiday!
