Lime Lodge is set in a beautiful riverside location nestled in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty in the heart of Shropshire's Clun Valley. This delightful single-storey wooden lodge is situated on a small park of only 10 lodges and is beautifully presented throughout, providing light and spacious accommodation for up to four people. The lodge comprises of 2 bedrooms, a well equipped kitchen and open plan living and dining area. Two sets of sliding patio doors lead onto an attractive enclosed decking area, that overlooks the meandering river. Sit and enjoy the tranquil riverside setting, attracting ducks, geese, the occasional swoop of a kingfisher and perhaps a glimpse of an otter. The lodge offers easy access to plentiful footpaths, bridleways and cycle-paths, an ideal base for those who enjoy the outdoor life. There is an abundance of wildlife including deer in the surrounding woodlands and forests, and Clunton Coppice is within walking distance, perfect for bird watching. Take in the breath taking views of Bury Ditches and explore the remains of nearby castle ruins. You will find a local pub a 10 minute stroll away serving delicious food. Along the valley, visit the village of Clun (2 miles away), with local amenities including a convenience store, quaint shops and traditional pubs. The pretty town of Ludlow is only 15 miles away boosting regular street markets, restaurants and other places of interest. Lime Lodge is ideal for a peaceful, memorable retreat, and is perfectly placed for exploring Shropshire, Herefordshire and Mid-Wales.

Accommodation/Amenities:

2 bedrooms, one twin room and one with king-size bed with Jack-and-Jill access to a spacious bathroom that comprises bath, separate shower cubicle, wash basin, w.c and heated towel rail. The open plan living area has a table and chairs to seat 4 and a comfortable lounge area with large sofa, armchair, freesat tv and dvd player. Two sets of patio doors lead to an enclosed decking area with riverside views and outside furniture.

The Lodge has hot water on demand and gas central heating in all rooms which makes it a comfortable stay all year round. The kitchen includes microwave, gas hob, electric oven, fridge with small freezer compartment, dishwasher, toaster, kettle, pots and pans, cutlery etc. Lounge area has freesat TV, DVD player, WIFI, DVDs, books. The lodge is equipped with an ironing board and iron,hair dryer, laundry facilities can be found on site. Bed linen and towels are included in the rent. There are two designated parking spaces next to the lodge, bike storage is available on site.

Sorry no pets allowed and there is a non-smoking policy in the lodge. There are two pubs and shops in Clun 2 miles away and just a 10 minute stroll down a country lane is the local pub which serves delicious food.

PLEASE NOTE: Due to building work on the lodge opposite, there may be associated noise. This is due to end in August 2014, therefore the August 2014 letting price is reduced to reflect this.
