Uniquely converted and spacious "Stables" offering coastal views within a peaceful setting, located between the charming fishing village of Clovelly and the beautiful Hartland peninsula. Stunning coastal walks and sandy beaches, with great surfing, are easily accessible from this unspoilt setting of converted farm buildings.

The Stables retains many original features with arched Stable door and windows, wrought iron poles and railings.

A large garden just a few yards away provides beautiful rolling countryside and sea views. Donkeys and horses graze in the adjacent fields.

The original features make this a truly unique conversion with arched Stable door and windows, wrought iron poles and railings. The Stables provides a large living space with flatscreen TV and DVD player, open-plan with kitchen (electric range oven) and dining area.

Main bedroom has double bed, second bedroom has triple bunk beds (double on bottom).

Spacious bathroom with wrought iron railings on walls surrounding a Victorian roll-top bath and shower attachment.

The entrance gate to the farm has an inscription in the stone 'Oh Highford how peaceful art thou!' and 2 lion fronted gateposts. Parking available for cars. Large grassed garden a few yards away with picnic bench. Adjacent fields have horses and donkeys grazing. Panoramic countryside and sea views.

The Devon region

North Devon is a beautiful and varied location to take a relaxing and enjoyable holiday. It has stunning scenery whether you are looking for rolling countryside, sleepy villages, bustling towns or long stretches of sandy beaches for exploring or surfing. Whatever the weather there are both outside or inside attractions to make your holiday fantastic.

Clovelly

The South West Coast path is a 5 minute drive with stunning views and beautiful bays. The uniquely charming fishing village of Clovelly is less than 2 miles away and the dramatic backdrop of Hartland Quay a 10 minute drive.

Beautiful stretches of sandy beaches at Westward Ho (15 mins), Sandymouth (20 mins) and Bude (25 mins) provide great surfing and a great base for exploring.

The villages of Hartland and Woolsery are a 5 minute drive away and provide general convenience stores, traditional family pubs and fish and chip shops. Hoops Inn is an upmarket, thatched inn offering fine local food and is less than a 10 minute drive. The Bush Inn, further south in the coastal hamlet of Morwenstow, provides locally sourced quality food in a scenic setting.

Other activities and attractions within easy reach include cycling on the Tarka Trail at the market town of Bideford, a 15 minute drive, Hartland Abbey less than 10 minutes away, numerous tea rooms for afternoon cream teas and The Milky Way and Big Sheep which cater for all ages and particularly children.
