"Good value self catering"

We booked this self catering apartment for walking in the Forest of Bowland. First up the price for 5 nights in August was very reasonable for two people even better if four were to rent and were happy to have a sofa bed for the second couple. Secondly the rooms were very spacious and had all that was required. Downside was that the central heating system was in need of a full service. You could have it full on or off but in between it created a lot of noise. Car parking outside was just about sufficient. The site is reached via a narrow road with passing places. Good areas for walking by car, 20 to 30 minutes away. Clitheroe can be reached on foot if you don't mind a good walk or 5 minutes by car. Simple bar open friday and sundays.Overall you could say the decoration was a little old fashioned but it is a period house. If you take the whole together, given the price I think most people would be very satisfied with this property.

Thanks for your feedback, we're glad you were happy with your stay. The central heating system is now under review and we're sorry it was not on it's best behavior during your stay. We have also started a renovation program in terms of decorating so it goes to show we do listen to our guests :0)
