The private patio is ideal for enjoying the peace and quiet or al fresco dining and there is a traditional wood-fired hot tub for those relaxing moments. The sheep and lambs in the spring graze the fields with walks directly from the cottage across countryside and woodland. "A lovely and well thought out holiday home in beautiful countryside"

The Boskins is a great little cottage set on a working farm. We were able to forget about our cars, and walk straight out in to the beautiful local countryside. There were many marked footpaths, and with the aid of the maps supplied in the cottage we did a couple of really nice circular walks. We returned from one walk and set about firing up the hot tub. This was a real novelty, and although it took a long time to heat up it was well worth the effort and the wait. Much nicer than a noisy bubbling tub full of chemicals. It was fun and quite easy to use, with good instructions on how to get it going.
The cottage itself is really well planned and has everything you need. The kitchen appliances are top quality and the whole place is very clean and tastefully furnished. The beds were really comfy and made for a great nights sleep. The log burner in the living room was lovely, and the supply of logs plentiful. We got through lots, but Sarah happily brought us another barrow full.
Clitheroe nearby was nice for a wander round with plenty of independent shops and cafes and pubs, as well as a couple of supermarkets for supplies.
We would happily return here in the future to enjoy this lovely cottage again.
