Welcome to the Lake House, a unique luxurious one of a kind 16 century detached barn conversion situated in the heart of the beautiful Forest of Bowland. The Lake House was specifically converted to offer the ultimate 5 star self-catering experience for six guests in three sumptuous bedrooms including one which is disabled friendly which also features a day bed. The Lakehouse has been accredited with a 5 star gold award from Visit England.

Named after its own small lake which is set in front of the property and is home to wild ducks. A large panoramic window set with an original 16th?century beam replaces the original barn door to overlook the lake from a large yet cosy reception area.

The Lakehouse represents the perfect getaway for discerning people wanting a peaceful break in the highest quality accommodation featuring all the luxury features you could hope for.?It's the perfect place for a romantic getaway or to spend your honeymoon.

You will always be welcomed with a chilled bottle of Champagne and/or wine and a comprehensive welcome basket including homemade truffles and cake. Nothing has been overlooked to create a luxurious yet homely feel to the property.

The Lakehouse is situated in its own large grounds and is part of an estate of over one hundred acres. To its rear are rising fells and private woodlands which are home to wild deer, to the side's private woodlands, open farmland and a stream running down from the fells which feeds the private lake to the front of the property.Access to the Lakehouse is via private road which runs over a quarter of a mile to Back Lane which itself is a designated “quiet lane” which means it carries little traffic and is suitable for walkers, cyclists and horses.

The open plan design boasts a large living and dining area as well as a state of the art kitchen all overlooking the lake. Also downstairs is a large bedroom with Super king size bed and a day bed, a large sauna with a walk through??wet room and a utility room across the large open stone flagged hall. The layout makes the downstairs bedroom ideal for disabled access.

A wood panelled staircase leads up to a large open plan mezzanine level with seating area as well as a family bathroom and two further large bedrooms both with super king-size??double beds. The master bedroom also features a large walk in wet room and a walk in wardrobe. All bedrooms have flat screen 32 inch televisions.
