Holiday Cottages Yorkshire covers more than just Yorkshire. Our properties extend from the stunning Lake District with some of the most spectacular walks to be had between the mountains and lakes. Down to Lancashire and into the Yorkshire Dales with quaint villages and farmsteads. Into the Vale of York and into the majestic and unspoilt North York Moors and the Yorkshire Coast with the traditional seaside towns such as Whitby and Scarborough sure to the soul. Then down into the Peak District which is a rambler's heaven and naturalists delight. We have something to suit all tastes and budgets.

Clitheroe

Clitheroe is home to the smallest Norman castle in England, Clitheroe Castle which is now a museum open to the public and caters for all ages. This market town in the Ribble Valley is a great base for tourists wishing to explore the Forest of Bowland and beyond. Clitheroe also hosts the Ribble Valley Jazz Festival and Clitheroe Food Festival each year.
