The North West Ireland / County Sligo region
Nestled on the shores of Mullaghamore, sheltered by the beauty and grandure of Benbulben Mountain. Views of the famous Lord Mount Batton Castle. Overlooking the famous Slieve League Mountains in County Donegal the highest cliff faces in Europe. Some of the best fishing in europe and opportunites to island hop the north west. A lovely walk or drive to Gleniff Horseshoe or if your fit enough why not try some rock climbing. Bike can be hired in the locality.
Things to do: For sporting enthusiasts the local area offers the chance to go scuba diving in the Atlantic Ocean, horse riding, fresh water or sea fishing, sailing and golf - to name but a few. For those that like to have a less active holiday the surrounding area has lots of treks and paths giving ample opportunity to stretch your legs. Dining out is never a problem; there is a fantastic selection of restaurants in the area and of course it goes without saying that you are never far away from a pub! If you feel like a spot of shopping, Sligo town is only half an hour away. Alternatively if it's cultural history you are looking for, W.B. Yeats grave is a 15-minute drive.

The house is within close driving distance of five excellent 18 hole links courses, Rosses Point, Bundoran, Strand Hill, Murvagh and Enniscrone, and one beautiful inland 18 hole course, Castle Hume, Enniskillen.
