Your own home away from home with plenty of space and privacy in our luxury lakeside apartments at Lake Tarpon Villas near Clearwater.

We are ideally located on Florida's sunny Gulf Coast just minutes from many of America’s best beaches. The apartments are situated on the shores of beautiful Lake Tarpon in the small and quaint town of Palm Harbor, just north of the famous beach resort of Clearwater with mile after mile of white sandy beaches all the way down to St Petersburg. many of these local beaches often make the top ten beaches in America beating competition in California and Hawaii!We are also just south of the well-known tourist town of Tarpon Springs with it's famous sponge docks.

The big and exciting city of Tampa together with it's International Airport is just 30 minutes away, with the major theme parks in Orlando only 90 minutes drive away.

Come stay with us and you will find you can relax and recharge your batteries in a quiet and comfortable setting yet just minutes away you have all the activities and amenities that you could ever wish for!

We have a computer with free high-speed Internet access. Relax by the pool (which has solar panels) and in the Jacuzzi and enjoy the waterfront environment. On your doorstep are an abundance of malls, restaurants, parks, beaches, golf courses, cinemas and endless activities for everyone - regardless of age.

Lake Tarpon Villas is a modern, stylish, quiet, low-level apartment complex with direct access to seven-mile long Lake Tarpon (Florida's second largest lake) which is great for fishing and water skiing. Apartment looks out onto water, boardwalks and boat docks. A gas-grill-BBQ is on the decking right by the water. A notable feature is the peace and tranquility of the view.

We have our own boat dock and next door is a boatyard which hires boats. Also next door is a great restaurant and bar which you can walk to.

The apartment has recently been refurbished to a high standard to make your stay a comfortable and relaxing one. It comes complete with all vital appliances and utensils together with free Cable TV with over 80 channels, DVD player, telephone with free local calls and computer with free high-speed Internet access.

Our one-bed apartment is on ground level - is very spacious, has one bedroom with queen size bed and one bathroom and is in perfect, mint condition. The large sofa bed in the living room enables you to sleep four with ease.

The living room and dining area has a superb view of the water of Lake Tarpon lapping at the decking. The patio doors open out into the very large patio area with electric barbecue, which is screened off – an ideal spot for a drink at sunset. Just outside is the gas-grill-BBQ right by the water.

The Florida / Florida Gulf Coast region

Nearby are the well-known and lively beach resorts of Clearwater and St. Petersburg. Just ten minutes away we have the quieter beaches of Honeymoon Island, Sunset Beach, Caladesi Island and Fred Howard Park. Tarpon Springs is a renowned port just up the road, famous for its ethnic Greek community diving for sponges.

Florida is renowned for good value, delicious food, usually served in large portions! Menus include a wide selection from ethnic Italian or gourmet French to "down home" barbecue or fresh fish caught daily. All of these are close by along with numerous supermarkets (including Wal-Mart) as well as shops and malls.

You are within easy reach of Disney World, Epcot Centre, Universal Studios, MGM Studios, Sea Life, and all the other attractions in Orlando. On your doorstep in Tampa, you have a theme park, Busch Gardens, famous for having the best roller coasters in Florida.

The Clearwater area

Nearby are plenty of golf courses notably the world-famous Westin Innisbrook Resort, Wentworth Golf club and the Lansbrook Golf course.

There are major sporting teams such as the SuperBowl champions Tampa Bay Buccaneers and the Tampa Devil Rays baseball team. You can also watch spring training for the Toronto Blue Jays and the Philadelphia Phillies.

Nearby is the Pinellas Trail which is 47 miles long where you can walk, run, bike, jog, or roller blade.

There are endless other activities for everyone such as great shopping at the malls, water sports, scuba diving, snorkeling, museums (i.e. Salvador Dali), art galleries, gambling at the Hardrock casino in Tampa, bowling, zoos, cruises, concerts, night-life, parks, fishing, cinemas, sailing, shelling, biking, tennis, racquet ball, basketball, shuffle-board, horse riding, miniature golf, free internet at local library, live theatre, sightseeing, water skiing, windsurfing, para sailing, jet skiing, rafting and swimming with Manatees or Dolphins.

“Excellent Accomodation and closeness to Tampa Airport” Despite that we are 70 years of age we are frequent travellers to most parts of the world and are very critical if things are not up to our expectations. From the initial contact with the owner we were very impressed with all aspects of the holiday from the excellent directions from the airport to the small details of where the best beaches and eating houses were situated. From our own point of view we were very satisfied that we had chosen this property. To our surprise our deposit was returned well witrhin the time scale stated by the owner,but we did leave the property in a clean and tidy condition as it was when we arrived.

“A truly marvellous holiday” Want to say that we had a truly marvellous holiday once again – our fourth stay at your apartments we feel like residents now. So much wildlife to see in the local parks and the local restaurants even know us now. Still finding new parks, Wall Springs the current favourite, we have returned home feeling relaxed and many years younger – wonderful, thank you. Carol (and John) Eabry

We had a very enjoyable couple of weeks at your condo. It was exactly what we were looking for ie. a spacious and clean accommodation in a quiet and picturesque location. In fact, we liked it so much we hoped we could rent it again for the same two weeks next year. M.S.

Just to let you know that we are now back home. Once again we had a fabulous time, everything we need is there, my son and his wife spent a few days with us and there was plenty of room. Will it be possible to book again for next year? J.B.
