Home description
Tivigny is 12 minutes' drive from the Grand Anse shopping/restaurant area but feels a world away. Enjoy superb views over Clarke's Court Bay, Hog Island and out to sea from every room. The infinity pool perched above the bay has a waterfall edge and 'wet bar' and is fenced with glass balustrades and gated, ideal for families with small children. 2,500 sq ft of living accommodation makes Tivigny extremely spacious for a 3-bedroom villa. Each en-suite bedroom is airy, light and welcoming, with louvre doors and windows, polished hardwood floor, ceiling fan, air conditioning and a balcony. Behind the house is a shady tropical courtyard with gas BBQ and loungers. The house is set in tropical gardens of oleander, allamander, bouganvillea and palms that attract birds, butterflies and hummingbirds.
A gourmet kitchen with all appliances offers a sea view, pantry, 2 fridge freezers and dishwasher. The Great Room has a high 'cathedral' ceiling of tropical hardwood rafters, plus 32' LCD TV, home cinema surround system, PC with broadband Internet and wifi. Enjoy alfresco dining in the gazebo, soak up the sun on the pool deck, swing in the hammock, play a DVD on the home cinema, take a stroll to the beach and jetty for fun on the water in the kayaks and dinghy.
Tivigny has proved popular with honeymooners, families with small children and/or babies, families with older children, families plus grandparents and groups of two or three couples. Pricing is according to number of bedrooms occupied, making this a luxurious but affordable choice for many. A car is recommended but not essential.

How to get there
Virgin Atlantic, British Airways and Excel have weekly or more frequent services to Grenada from London. Excel is a charter airline and often has the best deals. They also fly non-stop on some flights. (Others touch down on Tobago or Antigua on one or both legs). Journey time 8-10 hours depending if you have a stop. Car hire is easily arranged and not expensive. We recommend Azar's Rentals (www.azarsrentals.com).

'An oasis of calm, beauty and tranquility'
Just a quick note to say how wonderful our stay in your beautiful house was. We seemed to enter a paradise as soon as we climbed the steep drive. The feeling of space and air was so calming . We loved the way you can feel inside when you are outside and outside when you are inside – a very clever design! Beautiful furniture and decoration all added to the experience. Views across a magical swimming pool over to a picture postcard sea. What more could one ask for in the Caribbean. Thank you so much for letting us share in your oasis of calm, beauty and tranquility. - Robin Raban-Williams (plus family of 5 girls)
'The location is stunning'
Tivigny House is ideally located, just 10 minutes drive from all the supermarkets of Grand Anse, yet far enough away to feel 'away from it'. The location is stunning overlooking Hog Island and Clarke’s Court Bay. The villa itself is tastefully furnished, with the decor and attention to detail second to none. The house has exactly the right number of outdoor lounging spots for both getting to the sun, and getting away from it. The stunning views are from every room in the house, and particularly the infinity swimming pool, which sits ideally overlooking the bay and is stunning both night and day. The owners have ensured that nothing is left to thought, the service throughout our stay was second to none and I would highly recommend this villa to all. - Shaun Simons
'The most delightful villa'
Tivigny House is without doubt the most delightful villa we have ever had the pleasure to stay in. From the stunning views to the architecture and furnishings, everything was of the highest quality. I would not hesitate to recommend a stay there to anyone with a taste for privacy and refinement who is in need of a little luxury. - Sarah Moseley
