This luxurious new wooden lodge is situated in a private setting on the grounds of Weir Haven Country Guesthouse, only 20 minutes from Galway City. Ailwee Caves, The Cliffs of Moher, The Burren, Connemara and The Aran Islands are all within easy reach. The popular village of Clarenbridge, famous for it's Oyster Festival, is only 2km away and has a selection of cafes, restaurants, traditional Irish pubs and several shops. Kilcolgan is just 1km away and has a Post Office, supermarkets, pubs and restaurants. Moran's Oyster Cottage - world famous for it's seafood - is only a 5 minute drive away.

Clarenbridge is a picturesque village which is famous for it's Oyster Festival which is held every September. The village is located on the shores of the river Claren on the edge of Galway Bay. There are a number of excellent pubs, cafes and restaurants in the area and there are also a wide selection of shops - including designer boutiques, gift & antique shops and several supermarkets.

Situated only 15 minutes from Galway City, Clarenbridge & Kilcolgan are within easy reach of several famous beauty spots in the West of Ireland including The Burren, The Cliffs of Moher, Ailwee Caves, the Aran Islands and Connemara.

"Not a luxury lodge"

Worst place we stayed in 2 months of travel, mostly self catering in UK and Ireland. Owner mixed up booking dates, so no towels, toilet paper or kitchen necessities when we arrived. Many live wood lou… More
