"Don't stay here"

I should have known better than to book a discounted cottage. The owner asked for a 150 pound security deposit up front to a .com aPaypal account and then was AWOL on arrival claiming he hadn't re… More

A spiteful review from clients who foolishly decided not to read their arrival information email before travelling. They were therefore unable to gain access upon arrival and ran off in a tizzy tantrum to stay elsewhere when I didn't respond to my phone absolutely immediately (we do actually have a life and were at the cinema).

I think you can see what the property is REALLY like from all the other reviews - as well as a visitors book in the property full of dozens of glowing reviews. They say they did not accept a refund from their tour operator. Perhaps because it wasn't offered?

Just to clarify:
Access is by key code only. No 3rd parties are able to give access.
The TV system is virtually new, as is the freesat system.
The shower has no mould
The toilets are always spotless (we will of course re-clean anything if anybody should request)
The linen is (unfaded) John Lewis cotton
The wifi works well from a hub appx 20ft away
We had our annual Visit Britain Inspection in the Autumn and were again re-assessed as 5*

Many thanks for ignoring this review whilst our solicitors attempt to get it removed!
