For the more energetic Clachtoll is the perfect base for all kinds of fishing, birdwatching, watersports, walking or climbing.
When you return from a day out you will appreciate the comfortable beds and a hot shower in the privacy of your own caravan. If you want to cook for yourself, there is a full size fridge, microwave and cooker. The caravans also have a spacious dining area. If you choose a holiday in the cooler months, then your comfort is assured, because each caravan has heaters in every room and the caravans have gas and electric heaters.

The park is a short walk from the beach. Ideal for children.
The playground is the mountains of Suilven, Canisp, Quinag, Stac Polly and more.
The amusement arcade is the antics of the golden eagles in the wildreness, the black throated divers on the lochs, the puffins and razorbills on Handa Island, or the guillemotts on the cliffs. The list goes on.
The fairground is relaxing fishing by boat or bank on roadside or remote lochs, through to exilerating watersports for the thrill seekers.
Behind you rise the mountains of Assynt Coigach National Scenic Area, before you the water laps gently at your feet, Split Rock towers nearby, looking surreal in the setting sun. In between you can visit the highest waterfall in Britian or visit the most remote mainland gardens.
Rental is usually Saturday to Saturday in high season. Outwith this you can have shorter breaks.

The Scottish Highlands region
The north west highlands of Scotland offer some of the most stunning sightseeing opportunities in the U.K. Clachtoll by Lochinver is situated within the remote unspoilt beauty of Assynt Coigach National Scenic Area. There are many coastal walks and remote sandy bays, giving you the chance to discover the sealife that inhabit the coastal waters warmed by the gulf stream. Minke whales, dolphins, basking sharks and seals are not uncommon.
Spectacular mountains wating to offer you the most beautiful panoramas, with walks or climbs for all grades.
Sunsets are a speciality in this rural and remote part of the world.
Geologically the area has the oldest rocks and the highest waterfall in the uk, and is just oozing history and legends.
Lochinver is the nearest village,six miles away, and there are many small townships scattered throughout the area. Boat trips to Handa Island bird sanctuary or to Kerracher gardens are available. Information regarding all types of fishing and all grades of walking and climbing, along with additional information on activities like cycling, adventure days or day trips are available in the caravans or from the award winning tourist information centre in Lochinver.
Visit the bone caves at Inchnadamph or try caving in our ancient cave system. Or relax on the beach and find out more about the seashore in the countryside rangers hut and contribute to their collection of shells and fossils.
There are rare plants to be found, and a pictish broch to explore nearby.
