El Olivar de Albarizas is a farm with 12,000 square metres of olive trees, just 200 metres from the Gasset reservoir and 170 km (105 miles) from Madrid. It is the perfect starting point to visit the 2 national parks in the province of Ciudad Real, as it is only 27 km (17 miles) from the Tablas de Daimiel and 55 km (34 miles) from Cabañeros. Although lying on a plain, part of the Campo de Calatrava, it is surrounded by the foothills of the Montes de Toledo, part of one of the large mountain ranges that crisscross Spain.

The house can sleep up to 15 people on two floors, each with its own entrance. They can be rented separately or together. The ground floor, EL OLIVAR DE ALBARIZAS I (with 8 beds) has a bedroom and bathroom prepared for those with physical disabilities.

The terrain surrounding the house makes it an ideal place to enjoy the open air. We have verandas and terraces overlooking the countryside, a barbecue, a wood-fired oven, a gold-fish pond, swings and huts for the kids, two small swimming pools, etc.

The Olivar de Albarizas comes with towels, bed clothes and kitchen equipment – in fact, with everything you need to disconnect and relax for a few days. Amongst other things, the house has large and comfortable beds, a cot (on previous request), a kitchen with micro-wave, oven and toaster (on both floors); dish-washer and washing-machine in the down-stairs kitchen, fire-place in the living-room, tv and music centre, games and toys, Internet, etc.

And if you really want to relax, let us prepare your breakfast, lunch or dinner. What's more, we can give you the chance to try six wines from Castilla-La Mancha, the largest wine-producing area in the world (25% of the world's production) in a wine-and-tapa experience, explained by a professor of the University of Castilla-La Mancha Agricultural School, and member of the La Mancha Denomination of Origin Wine-Tasting Committee.

More
