About the home

Apartment Arcadia is a new apartment recently constructed and designed by the owner. The gardens are accessible and well kept, with many areas for quiet contemplation. There is a 64m roof terrace with eating & built in BBQ. Here, there are views to the sea and the lovely salt lakes.
There is a large 42" Flat screen TV for all those sporting fixtures you just can't miss! TV has most British channels. There is a DVD player and plenty of films 'on request'. There are 3 good sized bedrooms to give everyone there 'own space'. The apartment is air-conditioned and has fans in 2 bedrooms.
The apartment has easy access to local supermarkets, bars, bakery and places to eat. (A car is recommended for further afield).

Quesada, is about 8 minutes by car, with all the shops and restaurants, from Thai, Chinese, Indian and good 'British Fare'. There is mini-golf for children and adults, an Aquapark and a local market every day.
Your only 10 minutes drive from the beaches of Guardamar, La Mata, and 5 minutes from the N332 which can take you north to 'Terra Mitica' near Benidorm, or Guadalest in the mountains.

You can hire ordinary bikes or the new Eco-Cycles/Electric biking with guided tours, look for information in the apartment.

The Costa Blanca / Valencia / Alicante Province region

The Costa Blanca:-
With its14Km of fabulous beaches, the Costas attract many tourists, year after year. Here in the South is Torrevieja, Guardamar, La Mata, La Marina, with access to La Manga and Cartagena. The climate is so good it is reputed by the World Health Organisation to be one of the healthiest places to live in Europe and boasts over 320 days of sunshine every year. North is Elche, famous for the hundreds of different varieties of Palm Trees, famous for their shoe factories and a large mall with all designer shopping .

On the N332 you can access the beautiful mountain village of Guadalest and the waterfalls of Algar, where the famous Shampoo advert was filmed. Nearby on the coast is the famous Benidorm,agreat day out, by coach or for the more adventurist, the 'night life'. There is Calpe, Denia and Moraira, all lovely coastal fishing towns. Alicante is a favourite for shopping, good dining and restaurants.

The Ciudad Quesada, Rojales / La Fiesta area

Quesada is located south of Alicante on a south facing hillside with view towards Torrievieja and the Sa n Miguel Salt Lakes. Quesada is surrounded by Citrus Fruit groves which discourages mosquitos. There is a Parc Natural at Guardamar del Segura with lots of facinating birds and wildlife. There is a further wildlife area near Santa Pola where the salt is created for most of the world. Many bird watchers flock here to see the thousands of flamingos.

Quesada is also surrounded by Golf courses, some 10 minutes, some 1/2 hour away. La Marquesa is the closest, near Rojales, Villamartin, Algorfa, Las Ramblas and Campomar within 1/2 hours drive.There are many activities for the children, mini-golf, Quesada Water Park, tennis courts and of course the fabulous beaches.

There is a very worthwhile charity option called Easy Horse Care in Rojales. You can visit and meet all the horses and ponies that have been rescued and brought back to health by the owner. There is a lovely pony called 'Faith' who had her front leg removed due to an injury, she is the first pony in Spain to have a prosthesis fitted, she quite the star. All information is available in the apartment.

There are lots of good places to eat, from 'The Hot Stone' all your meat, Agentinian steak cooked on a volcanic stone, cook to your own taste, fantasic sauces. There is a good Spanish restaurant, 3 course lunch, €6.50. Route 66 in Benimar, lovely home made burgers with large salad and sides, fabulous wraps, again, €6.50 per person.

Electric bikes for those who want to keep fit with little effort, rent for the day or go on a guided tour. see apartment for details. Popular with the Norweigians, British and Germans.

A 25% deposit of the total price to secure your dates, as a preliminary booking. The balance to be paid no later than 8 weeks before your holiday. Booking made less than 8 weeks to your holiday should be accompanied by the full holiday price. We will send an email of confirmation when the balance has been paid as formal acceptance of the booking.

Cancellation: If you have to cancel, please inform us immediately. If you cancel more than 60 days before the holiday, all money will repaid above the 25%. We will try to re-let the accommodation, and, if successful will return the deposit it full. Cancellation within the 60 days means your deposit will not be returned.

Arrival & Departure: Arrival needs to be 3.00pm, and not before, due to cleaning and refreshing the accommodation, departure should be 11.00am on the morning of the date of your holiday.
