About the home

Situated in a quiet Spanish suburb, our spacious, comfortable accommodation for your holiday comprises of 1 double bedroom, 1 twin bedroom and 1 bathroom. Large front garden with stone table, BBQ and front balcony. A large roof terrace with acovered Gazebo, seating and barbecue facilities. Television with uk satellite, dvd player, Radio & CD Player and airconditioning/heating. Shared swimming pool. Wi-Fi internet access available throughout our property including garden & roof top solarium, allowing you to connect your own laptop

Our accommodation consists of an open plan kitchen, dining and lounge area, with a large bathroom, double bedroom and twin bedroom. The fully equipped kitchen includes fridge freezer, halogen hob, fan oven and washing machine. We have a tv with a comprehensive list of UK satelite channels. The dvd player incorporates a cd player and we are also building up a small library of movies on dvd for you to watch. We also have a stereo radio/cd player.

Further details outdoors:
The front garden is gated, has off street parking and is an ample size to sit out at our stone table and cook from the front garden BBQ enjoying a glass of wine. Wi-Fi internet can be access via the house.
If you would prefer, we have a front balcony and barbecue facilities on the large roof garden, with seating so you can watch the glorious sunsets.
The shared swimming pool is a very short walk to the top of our road. Keys will be provided for access to this owners/guest facility.

And you will have this with our friendly local Hosting couple who live nearby, they offer help should it be needed and any problems are resolved with the minimum of fuss.

* This includes assisting with any medical or legal requirements during your holiday. Our hosts can be called upon 24 hours a day, 7 days a week for assistance. Our Hosts can also arrange local interpreters in the event of unforseen accidents.

* Transport service to and from both Alicante and St Javier (Murcia) airports can be arranged with our Hosting couple. This could also be extended to a local taxi service on demand when required. An 8-9 seater people carrier can be booked for larger groups, golfers, families or friends who may be sharing your holiday , our hosts I am sure will be able to find addtional accommodation within the immediate vicinity of CASA Etienne.

* Our Hosts can provide an all round personalised service, including baby sitting if required.

*Nursery equipment (cots, high chairs & listening sets) can be hired,and the cost details will be sent to you prior to your arrival.This will then be installed prior to your arrival at the house.

*Bicycle and car / Booster seats are also available to hire

* Furthermore, they will offer you all the assistance necessary to aclimatise yourselves to the area and can inform you of local live entertainment and events.

* If renting for 2 weeks and you would rather forget about washing and ironing bedding whilst on holiday, our hosts can offer a change of bedlinen and towels and a full clean through after the first week for 40€.

We respectfully ask that you do not smoke inside the house.

A breakage deposit of £100 is requested with your holiday booking, which is refunded after inspection of the property on your departure. This will be returned within two weeks of your arrival back in the uk.

The Costa Blanca / Valencia / Alicante Province region

Spain has an average of 320 days of sunshine each year, very little rainfall and temperatures vary from 17 degrees in February and December to 32 degrees plus in August. The salt lagoons draw moisture from the air making it a unique micro dry climate. Two of these lakes are the salt lake of Torrievieja and La Mata, the latter being just five minutes drive from Rojales and an excellent place for bird watching. The climate has been described by the World Health Organisation as one of the healthiest in the world. Guadamar boasts a lovely children's park where there is even a pond with turtles and there is a long woodland walk which takes you down to a marina, which is well worth a visit. For beautiful views visit the Guadalest mountains near Benidorm.

The Ciudad Quesada, Rojales area

Ciudad Quesada is very close and convenient for an evening out. There are a number of restaurants including Chinese, a steak house, Spanish, Indian to name a few. You will find many banks here, supermarkets, a pharmacy and newsagents. Sports activities are available in Quesada and Guadamar, water sports such as sailing, scuba diving, windsurfing, water skiing, snorkelling and fishing can be found in the port in Torrevieja and the yacht club "Real Club Nautico de Torrevieja. Guadamar is our nearest sandy beach, just 10 minutes by car and being 10 km long . We have five Golf courses in close proximity. These are Golf La Finca, La Marquesa Golf and Country Club, Las Ramblas de Orihuela, Real Club de Golf Campoamar and Club de Golf Villa Martin. We are just ten minutes away from a golf shop who are agents for all the courses and they can book your tee off times in advance and get you a discount. For the children there is a water park on the outskirts of Quesada and another at Torrevieja. If Theme Parks excite you there is Terra Mitica near Benidorm and the Pola Park in Santa Pola. Pay a visit to at least one of the street markets, there are several on every day and be prepared to haggle. Festivals play a big part in the Spanish calendar and firework displays are plenty, August and December being two particular months.

The four star hotel 'La Laguna' is a five minute walk from our property. This exclusive hotel offers a piano bar, restaurant, health spa and treatment centre and a gym, open to non-residents. Opposite are local bars, restaurants and banks.

Quesada is approached from Alicante or Murcia airports via the Mediterranean Highway (A7) and N-340 or via the N332 which bypasses towns and villages along the coastal road. Detailed directions will be provided on confirmation of booking.
