Torrevieja is 10 minutes drive and has stretches of golden sands, esplanade and marina. It is renowned for its salt lagoons, now listed as a nature reserve.
There are numerous fiestas around the region.

Quesada is approached from Alicante airport via the Mediterranean Highway (A7) and N-340 or via the N332 which bypasses towns and villages along the coastal road
