Welcome to our Villa Oasis situated in the town of Ciudad Quesada, near Torrevieja, in the heart of the Costa Blanca on Spain's south eastern coast, 30 minutes from either Alicante or Murcia Airports. This area of Spain boasts over 320 days of sunshine each year and has been reputed by the World Health Organisation as one of the healthiest places to live in Europe. The villa is a 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom detached house in a pleasant, quiet and mature residential neighbourhood with a large private swimming pool and Jacuzzi, and a 64m2 roof terrace with built in BBQ and food preparation area. The villa has sea views and is within 10 mins walking distance of restaurants and bars and 5 mins walking from tennis and basketball courts.

Ideally suited for families and golfers alike, it is within a short drive of 6 good golf courses and the 14km of glorious beaches around Guardamar del Segura, some of the best beaches in Spain. Less than 5 minutes drive takes you to the popular Quesada Water Park, Quesada centre with its shops, banks and restaurants and La Marquesa golf. The local shops are a two-minute drive, while Quesada has 3 supermarkets. Torrevieja is 8 km away, with a superb shopping mall, including a large Carrefour hypermarket

The Costa Blanca / Valencia / Alicante Province region

The Costa Blanca, with its wonderful beaches attracts many tourists every year. In the south the Costa Blanca goes down to Guardamar and Torrevieja. With such wonderful cities like the Elche, the palm tree capital of the world and renowned for an exclusive new shopping centre. This is the area in which Villa Oasis lies in a pleasant residential area in the town of Ciudad Quesada. Ideally located for flights from across Europe, Villa Oasis is 35 minutes from either Alicante or Murcia airports. Within easy reach are 6 championship golf courses and glorious beaches.

Locally there is a good range of shops, restaurants and bars along with a water park for kids (young or old!). You can basically travel along the Costa Blanca as the motorway goes all way along the coast. Make sure when you come along these beautiful sometimes small villages that you have enough time to explore.

There are many attractions alongside the Costa Blanca, some of them especially for tourists like the entertainment park Terra Mitica at Benidorm or the bays of Altea and Calpe. Others are smaller towns and villages like Villajoyosa just south of Benidorm, famous for its old town and its chocolate. To me the biggest beauty of the Costa Blanca comes from its beaches along with its tiny villages give the Costa Blanca its unique attraction.

Located on a South facing hillside, Ciudad Quesada boasts stunning views over the Torrevieja salt lakes - one of which is the most important working salt lake in Europe, the other is a designated nature reserve where you can see an abundance of wildlife. Just beyond that, you will catch tantalising glimpses of the Mediterranean.

The facilities at Ciudad Quesada are second-to-none, with a vast array of shops, supermarkets, bars and restaurants and every amenity you might need including banks, dentists, chemists, hairdressers, and a medical centre.

Renowned for its sunny beaches, sleepy afternoons and delicious cuisine, Spain is also home to some dramatic mountain ranges, clean sandy beaches. The large bustling town of Torrevieja is just ten miles away with hundreds of bars, restaurants etc, and a lovely seaside promenade with night time market. But you have Quesada town on your doorstep, this comes with shops, bars, restaurants, golf course and its own water park. Alicante and Murcia airports are 30 miles and the nearest beach is less than 10 minutes drive away. If you are a golfer, then they are many professional golf courses, Villamartin, Las ramblas and Campoamar.

The local water park, Torrevieja town and open markets are open every day during the Summer months. They are an abundance of flamingos and other wildlife on the saltlakes, and the area is the second healthiest place in the world mainly due to the saltlakes.

One of the greatest tourist attractions of Torrevieja has always been its variety of entertainment for families and young people. There are more than a hundred night bars, the majority concentrated in the so-called El Baluarte area in the La Punta district, which have become a major attraction for thousands of people from all over the world.

Guardamar

Guardamar, also known as Guardamar del Segura is a typical Spanish town which not only has some of the best beaches in Spain, it also has an excellent street market every Wednesday morning and some brilliant shops, bars and restaurants.

The long, sandy beaches at Guardamar consistently win the coveted Blue flag awards every year for their cleanliness, safety and facilities etc.

Guardamar Playa del Campomar is at the southern end of Guardamar.

Guardamar Moncayo beach - Playa del Moncaio, is the next beach going northwards from Playa del Campomar.
Next, going northwards is Roqueta Beach - Playa la Roqueta.
Next, is Centro Beach - Playa Centro.
Next, going northwards, is Guardamar Playa de le Babilonia - After the Centro beach follows the Playa de le Babilonia, where you will see the old fishermens cottages.

Next, the Vivers Beach - Guardamar Playa del Vivers. Also here, you will see the Dunas De Guardamar and a little further on, the mouth of the river Segura and the Marina de las Dunas of Guardamar del Segura.

Next, Guardamar Playa Los Tusales - This beach is on the other side of the river Segura going out of Guardamar. Although a bit further to drive, this is especially beautiful as few make the effort to get here.

How to get there

Villa Oasis is ideally situated for flights from the UK and Europe, being a mere 35 minute drive from either Alicante (ALC) or Murcia San Javier (MJV) airports.

Easyjet, Ryanair, BmiBaby, FlyBe, British Airways and Jet2.com are among the many airlines that serve Alicante from the UK. Murcia is served by Easyjet, Ryanair, BmiBaby, Monarch and Jet2.com from a number of UK airports and Dublin.

Villa Oasis is a newly-built luxury three-bedroom, two-bathroom detached house which sleeps 6-8 people. The accommodation is secure, with front gates and off-street parking.

The living space/lounge includes seating which can be pulled out to sleep one person. TV and DVD player. Dining table and seating for 6 people. Between the kitchen and living area is a breakfast bar. The kitchen includes dishwasher, microwave, hob and oven. There is a Utility Room with washing machine.

The master bedroom has a double bed and en suite shower room with twin basins.

Bedroom 2 has twin beds and an extra full-size pull-out bed.

Bedroom 3 can either be a single bedroom or, with a full-size pull-out bed at the same height, a twin bedroom.

The main bathroom has a hydro-massage spa bath.

Further details outdoors:
There is plenty of outside space, from a front porch and garden to a back garden with a large 8 x 4m swimming pool and Jacuzzi. Garden furniture including sun loungers are available.

The entire roof is a solarium with great sea views of the salt lakes and Torrevieja. The solarium has a built-in barbeque and sink/food preparation area.

Conditions

Payment is preferred by bank transfer in Euro but we can also accept sterling. A 25% deposit is due on booking, with the balance 6 weeks prior to the start date. The villa is cleaned after each visit. We can accept payment by PayPal, but prefer bank transfer. A small cleaning charge is made upon collection of the keys.

“Villa Oasis fully lives up to its name, providing spacious living accommodation of a very high standard in a quiet part of the town. The slightly elevated position affords good views of the surrounding area, especially from the roof area. Recently constructed, high quality fixtures and fittings have been provided throughout, assuring occupants of a comfortable and hassle free stay. As a film enthusiast, I particularly enjoyed the 32” flat screen / DVD setup in the lounge! As the web site indicates, it could accommodate a maximum of eight people using the folding bed capability, but is ideally suited to six, making use of the three double bedrooms. Finally, both the main and en-suite bathrooms are well equipped and of a good size, which should go some way to avoiding the morning ‘bottleneck’ some of us have enjoyed in lesser accommodation in the past!

I can strongly recommend this villa, whether as a place to spend a relaxing week, or as a base to see the surrounding area.”
