Home description
You could be lounging on the patio, relaxing around the pool with the children, walking/bird watching by the salt lakes or playing a round of golf, this apartment is well situated for all holiday types. The Blue Flag Beaches of Guadamar are only 10 minutes drive through the orange and lemon groves; there you will find miles of sandy beaches and play areas, with the pine dunes along one end of the beach. Just 5 minutes drive will take you to the local Aqua Park fun for old and young. Also in the vicinity are facilities for tennis and bowling and of course you are a just a short walk away from bars and restaurants of all nationalities, and for those who truly want to self cater, the local Super Value supermarket.
The large Town of Torrivieja is 15 minutes drive, past the large Carrefour supermarket and the new shopping Mall, and in the opposite direction you will find the beaches of La Marina, another stunningly beautiful beach with beach bars and restaurants. And don’t forget to visit one of the many markets held each week in the vicinity, I would definitely recommend the large market in Guadamar held on Wednesdays.

The Costa Blanca / Valencia / Alicante Province region
The Costa Blanca boasts one of the best and healthiest climates in the world, along with many Blue Flag beaches, excellent sports opportunities, many festivals and lively nightlife. No wonder so many people are choosing the Costa Blanca for their holiday destination.
Ciudad Quesada, Rojales / Buena Vista Golf VIII area
For Golfers the La Marquessa Golf Course is a 2 minute drive or a five minute walk down the hill. The newly built championship course of La Finca is an easy 10 minute drive away and Los Ramblas, Villa Martin and Campoamor courses are a short drive down the AP7.
For nature lovers there is an abundance of wild life including flamingos on the nearby salt lakes, and El Recorral a large expanse of open moor a short walk away. For family fun Quesada has its own Aqua Park, (open in the summers months). The apartment also has a communal pool just a two minute walk away which includes a safe toddlers pool area.
A 10 minute drive through orange and lemon groves brings you to the beautiful beaches of Guardamar. The typically Spanish town of Rojales is right next door to La Marquessa Golf Course and the larger town of Torrevieja is a 20 minute drive away, past the large Carrefour super market and brand new shopping centre.
And finally there are Chinese, French, Greek Restaurants, along with the Irish Bar Steak Restaurants and of course Spanish Restaurants all nearby and for those who really want to self cater, a super value supermarket next door to the golf club and a larger Mercadona supermarket between the golf club and Rojales
For those of you that enjoy sightseeing guides of what to do/see in the surrounding area including Alicante, Benidorm and Murcia, Guadalest and many more, are provided in the apartment. Quesadas 'Rosa Tours' travel agent run cheap daily coach excursions ranging from shopping trips, Theme Parks to Sight seeing of the many historic sights and cities
Places I like to visit.
Castle De Guadalest -A pretty, unspoilt mountain village founded about 1,000 years ago by Moors who carved terraces out of the rocky terrain to grow crops. The oldest part of the village is only accessible on foot through a tunnel from Casa Orduna under the castle ruins.
The Museo de Micro-miniaturas is an extra ordinary display of oddities you can only see through a powerful magnifying glass. Exhibits include an amazing version of the Goya painting Naked Maja - on the wing of a fly.
Altea, is an ancient Greek town on a low hill north of Benidorm. It was seized by the Romans captured by tyh4e Moors then taken for the last time by James 1 of Aragon in 1244 during the Christian recon-quest of Spain,. The town’s walls date from this time. They enclose a maze of cobbled narrow and crooked streets and a jumble of white houses. There is a craft market each evening in the summer months and on Tuesday there is a market on the sea boulevard.
Elche – where the discover of the bust known as the Lady of Elche dates the fortified city back to the 4th Century. Elche has one of the largest palm plantations in the world which dates back to the foundation of the city, some of them over 300 years old. Slightly newer is the very impressive shopping centre with lots of designer stores!!
Murcia – This is an old Arab town surrounded by orchards, and was the centre of the silk industry in the 18th Century. There are many lovely buildings to see such as the Bishops Palace and look out for the casino, a social club erected in 1847 with a sumptuous interior that includes a Moorish-style patio inspired by the Royal Palace at the Alhambra,
Cartagena – not too far down the AP7 which has a beautiful harbour once the home of the Spanish Navy. There are many things to see such as the Auguesteum, a museum preserving the temple where Romans who worshipped the Emperor Augustus met. Nearby is the Hours of Fortune, the preserved ruins of a Roman home from the 1st century BC.
How to get there
Fly to Alicanti or Murcia Airports with any of the budget airlines, i.e. Easy Jet, BMI Baby, Monarch, Jet 2 ect, and whichever airport you choose your only 30 minutes drive from our beautiful apartment. It's an easy drive from both airports and CarJet.co.uk offers very competitive rates on car hire from both airports. I personally would recommend that you hire a car, but if you prefer I can arrange for you to be picked up at either airport for as little as 60 euros return. Full instructions on how to get from either airport to destination will be provided on booking.

Further details indoors: The apartment has two twin bedded rooms with fitted wardrobes, bathroom with shower and bidet, lounge, dining area and American kitchen with fridge/freezer, full cooker, microwave, washing machine and all other equipment that you would expect to find in a fully equipped holiday home. Bedding and towels are also supplied, but please bring your own beach towels. Fans are provided to cool you down in the summer and to warm you in the cooler months.For privacy the apartment sleeps four, but I can arrange to have a put you up bed for an extra guest. UK terrestrial television is provided and there is also a dvd player as well as radio and cd player. There are also several adaptors available for English electrical goods.
At the front of the apartment is a large private gated patio area, which provides both sun and shade throughout the day, a safe play area for the children, or a great place to eat outside if not sitting on the balcony. There is ample car parking both inside and outside the gates

Further details outdoors: The gated patio area is large enough to park your car, although plenty of room on outside road, with space left to relax on the second patio area. There is plenty of outside storage for golf clubs or any additional beach gear you may have. Sun Loungers and Beach chairs are provided. Seating/tables and sun brollies are provided around the swimming pool.
