Home description
* Benomi is situated in the lovely bustling spanish town of Quesada. The house is in a small, private and friendly community (Las Cerezas) with views of the beautiful pools and gardens. The house has three terraces all with outdoor furniture where you can sit and soak up the sun and the atmosphere. To the rear of the house is a good sized secure, sunny patio with built in BBQ for dining al fresco.
* Benomi is a modern 2 bedroom property, of a generous 82msq interior with a further 30msq exterior. Each bedroom has two single beds and fitted wardrobes. Marble bathroom with corner bath and shower. Downstairs is a well equipped kitchen and lounge, and also extra WC/Cloakroom. We have also brand new babies travel cot and highchair. (Please supply cot linen) PLEASE NOTE NO CHILD GATES ARE FITTED TO STAIRCASE!

The Costa Blanca / Valencia / Alicante Province region
The house is ideally situated for those that want to get the best out of a holiday. Only 30 minutes from Murcia and Alicante Airports The house is in a quiet location, within 7 minutes drive to miles of white sandy beaches at Guardamar and Torrevieja with nature parks, salt lagoons, two salt-lakes with Europe's best healing climate (great for rheumatism, asthma, skin ailments), bird watching. Trips to Alicante/Benidorm (promenade,themeparks), Elche (park of palms), Murcia (gardens, theatre), Cartagena (roman settlement), Mar Menor (inland sea,La Manga strip) and hiking in the mountains.
Murcia Weather Weather in Murcia is very mild throughout the whole of the year and well known for being arid. Making it an ideal destination for holiday makers in both the summer & the winter months. Murcia and its surrounding areas are in the main, sheltered by hills & high mountains, allowing for a kind of micro climate. This limits rainfall and as a result the region enjoys sunshine for in excess of 320 days per year. The sun is at its hottest during the summer, with temperatures rarely falling below 30°C (86°F). Whereas the typically very mild winters, boast averages of around 18°C (64°F). The province of Murcia is famous for its salt lakes (salt is a major export). This has a major knock on effect on humidity levels and as a result the air is much dryer than in other parts of Spain & Europe. The low humidity levels coupled with a mild climate, mean the WHO (World Health Organisation) have rated this part of Spain one of the healthiest climates on the planet.
Ciudad Quesada, Rojales / Dona Pepa 2 area
Quesada is located between Guardamar and Torrevieja, and has developed into a popular cosmopolitan area over the last 30 years. It has all the amenities needed on its doorstep, an Aqua Park, Country Club and swimming pool, and a championship golf course, as well as shops, banks,restaurants and bars. There are also 5 other golf courses within a 30 minute drive. Torrevieja is 10 minutes drive and has stretches of lovely golden sandy beaches aswell as an esplanade and marina. Torrevieja is renowned for its salt lagoons, now listed as a nature reserve, and is home to pink flamingoes and other species of wildlife. This Area is renowed for clean air and has the salt lakes that you can bathe in.The lakes are said to be full of minerals and benifical to health.
Beaches Blue flag beaches are everywhere on the Costa coastline, this mark of high quality is known across Europe, it simply means that its facilities are as good as it gets. Beaches include: Torrevieja-Guardamar-Mata-Punta Prima- Playa Flamenca- La Zenia- Cabo Roig Beaches.
Markets It is good to remember Spain on the Costa’s has become home to many different nationalities from all over the world and the markets have become a general meeting place for them all. The markets that take place in the streets of the towns and villages are the best, as there is more atmosphere and it is where the Spanish go for their bargains. Some local markets include: Quesada, Elche, La Mata, Benijofar and Orihuela.
Supermarkets We now have all the daily provisions you could possibly need available at the new full size Consum and Lidl supermarkets, which are within a very easy 250 metres flat stroll of the property.

Further details indoors: The house is furnished to a high standard with all brand new furniture and fittings. It is equipped with everything you could want including: Books, playstation and games, board games/cards, Satelite TV(Sports/Movies) and loads of dvd's. We also provide beach furniture, so you do not have to pay out each day on the beach for hire. (Even bucket and spades:-) Just built within walking distance of property, new shopping complex, which includes, dentist, hairdressers, tapas bar, subway, pet shop, wok buffet, 3 supermarkets and a petrol station.
Further details outdoors: There is parking available right outside the rear gate. Front and rear gardens are fully tiled and private. Ideal for relaxing on the provided sunloungers and chairs!

Holiday Dates 3rd - 11th Sept 08
Just a little email to say "Thank You" so much for our wonderful weeks holiday stay in your house. The house itself was 1st class and is decorated wonderfully through out. The beach at Guardamar was fab and we went there most days, then back to the pool for a refreshing dip before dinner! Our 8 month old son, Harry, would like to say "thank you" also to your children for use of their toy snake! We took it with us to the beach every day and he just loved playing with it in the sand and throwing it in the air! The restaurants were superb and we ate at different places for 6 nights and found all of them delicious!! The Italian by Hotel La Laguna though was our favourite so we went there twice.
We will definitely be back!
