About the home

Welcome to our luxury self-catering holiday cottage at the Isis Lakes resort in the Cotswold Water Park. Surrounded by large, green open spaces, and with a view over the carp lake, this is the perfect setting for a relaxing holiday. Recently refurbished, Cygnet Lodge can sleep up to 6 people with 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms.

Situated in a resort setting, near Cirencester, there is a wide selection of activities around the lake for our guests to enjoy which are included within the price of the holiday: fishing (carp and trout); tennis courts; children's adventure playground; croquet lawn; boules piste; table tennis; giant chequers; games room with pool table, table top football, video games & soft play area; cricket & golf practice nets; football goal; volleyball net.

The surrounding Cotswold Water Park area has a host of other sports and leisure activities nearby including country parks, nature reserves, water activities (sailing, waterskiing, wakeboarding, cable ski tow, windsurfing, canoeing), golf, and horse riding (charges apply).

Ground floor

Large open plan living/dining area. 43" plasma TV with Freeview, Sky HD box, Blu-ray DVD player, and iPod docking station. Contemporary wall mounted flame effect electric fire. Patio doors lead to the private south-facing sun deck where you can enjoy the stunning view across Isis Lake. There is an outside table with seating for 6 and a parasol. A disposable BBQ stand is provided for ‘al fresco’ dining.

Contemporary open plan kitchen area with all new integrated appliances (ceramic hob, single oven/grill, dishwasher, washer dryer, fridge, freezer) and microwave.

Shower room - shower, basin and WC.

First floor

Large master bedroom with kingsize bed, double wardrobe, ceiling fan and seating area. 19” flat screen LCD TV with Freeview, radio/alarm, and radio/CD player. View over the lake.

Bedroom 2 - double bed and single wardrobe. Limited walking space around the bed.

Bedroom 3 - full size bunk beds and hanging rail.

Family bathroom - bath with shower over, basin and WC.


A travel cot and highchair can be provided as extras on request. Please bring your own cot linen.

There is electric central heating throughout. Parking for 2 vehicles is to the front of the cottage. There are steps up to the front porch, and leading down from the gated sun deck at the back.

Isis Lake is a natural, reed edged lake situated in a resort setting, near Cirencester. A wide selection of activities around the lake are available to all our guests and are included within the price of the holiday. All the activities are located in their own special area and surrounded by large, green open spaces and well maintained communal gardens, to ensure an air of peace and tranquillity.

Weekly bookings start and end on a Friday or Monday. Other arrival/departure days may be available at our discretion in low season.

We also offer short breaks - weekend 3 nights (arrive Friday) or mid-week 4 nights (arrive Monday). Prices for these standard short breaks are charged at 75% of the weekly rate.

Special break options are available around Bank Holidays, with 4 nights charged at 85% of the weekly rate, and 5 nights at 90%.

Weekend 2 night breaks are available from £360 at some times of the year.

Long winter lets (minimum 1 month) are available from November to March. Please contact us for details.

Prices include bed linen, towels and electric, together with the use of all the facilities around the lake. The cottage will be prepared and all beds made up for your arrival. We will arrange a mid-stay clean and linen change when staying longer than one week. We provide a welcome pack of tea, coffee, biscuits, milk and sugar, together with a starter supply of washing-up liquid, dishwasher tablets, toilet rolls and handwash.

The cottage is available after 3.00 pm on the day of arrival and should be vacated before 10.00 am on the day of departure.

Conditions

A 30% deposit is payable on booking with the balance of 70% due 6 weeks before arrival. A refundable security charge of £200 is also payable in advance. Payment can be made by cheque, bank transfer, or by credit/debit card with PayPal (2% fee payable).

Sorry, no pets are allowed and smoking is only permitted outside. No vans, commercial vehicles or camper vans to be parked on the resort overnight or at weekends. We are unable to take stag or hen party bookings.

The luxurious Spa 6 at the Cotswold Water Park Four Pillars Hotel is also nearby and offers a range of spa facilities and beauty treatments.

Isis Lake is one of over 140 lakes in the Cotswold Water Park. The Water Park covers an area of over 40 square miles and offers a huge range of outdoor pursuits including country parks, nature reserves, water activities, fishing, walking, cycling, golf, and horse riding.
