This stunning contemporary SOUTH WEST detached eco 5 bedroom/4 bathroom property (270m2) was featured in “House and Garden" Magazine, described as "the most striking modernist house in Cotswolds, extraordinary property with first class catering on tap". In July 2010 "The Times", described it as" in top 20 best waterside developments in Europe, offering the latest in eco design and luxury". Larchwood Lodge was extensively covered in September 2010 issue of Essential Kitchen Bathroom & Bedroom. Sixteen pages of pictures and editorial, the biggest coverage ever received in the life of this prestigious magazine. Described as a stunning “House on the Lake” with spectacular views, one of the most luxurious developments in the country.

Most recently “Larchwood Lodge featured in Sunday Times 50 Coolest UK Cottages:

“Eco-chic Larchwood Lodge is basically a photo shoot waiting to happen. It's on a sustainable development designed by the likes of Jade Jagger, Kelly Hoppen and Philippe Starck, set in 650 acres of clear-water lakes and ancient woodlands — yet it's within 15 minutes of the cutest of Cotswolds towns, Bourton-on-the-Water.”

The latest coverage we have received was in a prestigious London's “City Square Mile Magazine” descried as “Larchwood Lodge is a monolithic masterpiece: a design so grand that it would have Kevin McCloud reaching for similes from the sky, a relatively modest four-bed, four-bath count – however, given that one of those bedrooms doubles up as a cinema room and another has a surface area larger than most people's flats, it's by no means a meagre affair”

Full on site spa facilities including indoor heating pool avaiable for rental guests from 2.00pm to 5.00pm 7 days a week.

This luxury on site spa includes a 20 metre heated indoors pool, fully equipped gym, sauna, steam room, treatment rooms and an executive club house with fireplace, pool table and lounge seating area with complimentary teas and coffees. Within the grounds you will find a basketball court, children's play area and tree house. The Central England/Cotswolds region

April 2008 - Online magazine has compiled a list of the top ten ‘paradise’ locations around the world that seem to have remained untouched by civilisation. The Cotswolds is 2nd Place!

The region is famous for its ancient mellow ‘honey’ coloured limestone villages that blend perfectly into the countryside and its bustling market towns. Many have scarcely altered since they grew up on the prosperity of the medieval wool trade in the 15th and 16th centuries and subsequently forgotten about for more then 300 years. This sequence of events now makes the Cotswolds region one of the most treasured, toured and vacationed in England and the UK for nowhere else will you see such timeless uniqueness and heart warming preservation on such a scale.

Many traditional villages within 15 minutes reach, offering tradition combined with chic

Ideal for antique hunters :visit the charming villages of Bourton on the Water (the Venice of the Cotswolds), Burford, Stow on the Wold, Moreton in Marsh and Chipping Camden (plus many others), the larger spa towns of Bath (a World Heritage Site) and Cheltenham (famed for it’s beautiful Regency

architecture) or Oxford (the city of dreaming spires) and Stratford upon Avon just over 1 hour away.

For those looking for a bargain, Bicester Village offers most sought-after brands at prices reduced by up to 60%

Cirencester is the nearest town and is only 10 minutes drive, where you will find large Tesco, Waitrose, M&S and a good variety of shops/boutiques, pubs and restaurants.

The town of Cirencester (formerly named Corinium was the second largest town in Britain during Roman times) is home to the Corinium Museum, the Cirencester Abbey (the longest known Saxon church in England) and host to regular market days.

"Perfect in every way!"

Larchwood Lodge is absolutely gorgeous - from the minute we arrived we were impressed. Having a luxurious hamper of goodies to greet us with a bottle of chilled champagne certainly eased away the stress of a long drive.
Sumptuous interiors, with everything you could ask for from toys for the kids, an impressive cinema screen, molton brown products everywhere, a well stocked kitchen, to up to date magazines to enjoy whilst relaxing in the egg chairs. I want to go back now!
The on-site spa was excellent, our children loved the pool and spent hours in there. All the staff were very friendly and helpful.
Our party of 4 adults and 3 children had a wonderful stay. We hope to return in the summer months and make use of the lake. Many thanks to Kasha for a wonderful holiday home.

"Relaxing Retreat from the Concrete Jungle"

My husband and I live in the heart of London in what I like to call "the concrete jungle." We recently took a trip to the Cotswolds and stayed at the Larchwood Lodge. As we entered the property grounds I could feel my entire body relax. The smell of the fresh, crisp air cleansed us and the gorgeous fall colors brought smiles to our faces. When entering the home we found a welcome basket and bottle of champagne. It was a lovely touch. During our stay we took advantage of some of the services offered and indulged in the use of a private chef and a masseuse for an in-home treatment. They truly added to the experience. As someone who runs a travel consulting business, I would confidently recommend Larchwood Lodge to my clients and friends.

"Five Star Stay"

I cant rate this place highly enough and would recommend to anyone! The house is beautifully designed with huge glass windows overlooking the lake. It literally had everything you could possibly need, from a really well equipped kitchen to private kayaks to take on the lake. The bedrooms and bathrooms were also beautifully designed and everyone had amazing views of the lake. The house was spotless when we arrived and there was a great welcome basket.

Outside the grounds were beautifully kept and really quiet. The club house and spa where so relaxing and we were the only ones there. The masseuse Karen, that is recommended by Kasha was excellent. She came over for the morning and set up in one of the room and everyone who had them said she gave a great massage/facials.

It was also very easy to book, and Kasha was incredibly helpful, fast at answering all e-mail questions and really nice when we spoke on the phone.

I will definitely be back!

"Our fifth year here at Larchwood Lodge and still loving it!"

This is a perfect getaway for family or a group of close friends. It has recently been stylishly re-furbished and has everything you need for a comfortable stay with lots of tablewear if you invite guests for a meal, ample cook-ware for eating in and a great shaded outdoor table to eat outside if the weather is warm. The BBQ is well worth the effort. We love it! The house is fully equipped with safety-gates on the stairs for younger children, baby-cots, a high chair and plastic table wear so you don't have to pack any of that. We started coming here every summer when our youngest had just turned 1 and now that he is 5, life is easier for us as he can now join his older siblings exploring the place. It's an adventure for them. There is a kayak on the property with life jackets and our kids just love going out on the lake in it. We rent bicycles from the clubhouse at The Lakes and explore the grounds together visiting the Fishing Hut and the Bird Hide. There are fishing nets in the house and we have caught with much patience a few crayfish who after a few days as pets ended up on the dinner table! Delicious! Make use of the BBQ by visiting the great butchers around. We always get some rare-breed meat which makes a perfect BBQ. We were incredibly lucky this year and we had sunshine every single day of our 10 days at Larchwood which meant the kids could go and build sandcastles on the beach and we could take them out on the rowing boat. There is also a playground and basket-ball court, tennis courts, gym and swimming pool. It's almost impossible to do everything especially as it's location is great for exploring the rest of the Cotswolds. We'll be back again next year!
