Beautiful Lakeside Lodge with gated decking where you can enjoy your meals overlooking the lake...have barbecues, or fish for carp, or sit in the hot tub with a glass of wine.
Perfectly safe for small children. Set within the Watermark Club, a gated community with 24 hour security, it is safe for everyone.
Master bedroom suite on top floor with 2 single/double bed and tv.
Second bedroom with en suite shower room, tv/video.
3rd bedroom with 2 single beds.
All bed linen and towels are included (not beach towels) / Sitting room has sofabed, plasma screen tv with surround sound/dvd Sky+. Wifi broadband. Kitchen has 2 fridges...1 for food, 1 for drink!...and plenty of crockery/pans, condiments/spices/wok/coffee maker/ dishwasher tablets etc.

This is a perfect place to enjoy your holiday...whether you want to explore the many cycle paths around the 130 lakes, walk along the river banks to find an old pub for lunch or shop in the local towns of Cirencester, Burford, Cheltenham, or just sit in the hot tub with a glass of wine in your hand, and look at the stars!!
There is so much to do in the area, and plenty to do at the lodge if you just want to relax. We have a plasma screen tv with Sky+ and DVD player. There are games , books and DVDs. And out around the lake you will find a giant draughts game, a table tennis room, boules, tennis courts, children's playground and rumpus room.....

Golf nets, Boules Pitch, Bowls Green, Table Tennis room, Rumpus Room for under 4's. Adventure Playground.....and wonderful walks/bike rides around the pretty villages perhaps finishing at a pub for lunch

Although we prefer Saturday changeovers, any day for arrival/departure can be arranged. We use this lodge when we are in UK so you will find all the extras of a home environment.
We ask for a £250 deposit which is held until the cleaner has finished after you depart, obviously this will be returned if there is no substantial damage
Conditions
We are happy to accommodate long or short term lets...please phone us to discuss your requirements. We do not rent to hen/stag parties.

The lodge is the ideal base for exploring the Cotswolds, and Shakespeare country - London is only 1 hour 15 mins by train. Cirencester, (4 miles) , an historic Roman town in the heart of the Cotswolds with attractions from a Roman Amphitheatre to the nearby Chedworth Roman Villa. Bibury (11m) a charming, typically Cotswold village. Swindon (15m) with its famous Designer Outlet Village which is set in its historic old railway works this premier shopping centre offers up to 50% off normal designer prices. ...Gloucester Docks is another Designer Outlet 15 miles north,,,,,
Bourton-on-the-Water (20m) has been described as the 'Little Venice' of the Cotswolds and is one of the most popular tourist spots in the region. Cheltenham Spa (25) has been a health and holiday spa town resort since the discovery of mineral springs there in 1716. The town is famous for its Regency architecture.
The Cirencester / South Cerney area
There are many excellent pubs and restaurants in the area. Close by is Cirencester, a delightful town with one of the oldest street markets in the country. And a really good selection of boutique and independant shops.....dont miss Black Jack Street.
Keynes Country Park is near by which is wonderful for sunbathing and swimming. In fact with more than 130 lakes and covering 40 square miles, the Cotswold Water Park offers the widest possible choice of recreational activities. Whether you enjoy watersports,( try www.wmactive.co.uk )angling, bird watching, horse riding, tennis, luxury spa treatments nearby, visiting the animals at Butts Farm or playing with the kids at Magic land you won't be disappointed. Water-skiing/Wakeboard: Watermark has it's own Water-ski club, including an extensive cable ski park, which provides affordable skiing for the whole family.
The Lakeside Brasserie: overlooking Spring Lake is the Club's Brasserie. A venue for all the family, it provides everything from snacks to lunches and evening meals and during the summer there are often BBQs on the outdoor terrace.
Fishing: Watermark has it's own unique fisheries on river and lake. Carp up to 40lbs, exclusive all year round pike fishing as well as Tiger and Rainbow Trout. There is a fully stocked tackle shop where you can purchase or hire equipment.
Walking: Ten minutes drive north are some of the most stunning walks in the UK - beautiful rolling Cotswold countryside, hidden footpaths - and very few walkers, so you will really have the feeling of getting away from it all.
Golf: For golfing enthusiasts, there are two local courses - an 18 hole championship course and a 9-hole intermediate course. Ask for details of complimentary membership.

• Windsurfing and dinghy sailing available on a number of lakes within 5 minutes drive.
• Cycling: There is a 12-mile circuit around the lakes, half of it off road, as well as miles of country lanes and bridleways to explore. For the more adventurous, there are plenty of hills that offer more challenging cycling and outstanding views.
• Horseriding: The Cotswolds offer perfect riding country and there is a school close to the Watermark that provides both tuition as well as trekking opportunities for the more experienced rider

We are an easy drive of approximately 1 hour 15 minutes from Bristol and Birmingham airport. The railway station at Kemble is only 7 km, and Swindon station is 20 minutes. M4 junction 15 20 minutes. M5 junction 11a 20minutes The beach is on one of the lakes and a 'blue flag' beach
