My husband, 2 good friends and my two young boys spent the week in Lodge 37 and had a fantastic time. The accommodation was clean and spacious, with the patio being a particular highlight - the boys loved playing in the sandpit! Lots to do in the surrounding area, as well as many tourist attractions within a 1-2 hour drive. Highly recommended. |

We would highly recommend this cottage to anyone who is looking for a relaxing break, with or without children. From the moment we arrived it felt like home from home, and the owners of the property were very accommodating with everything they supplied to help cater for our 4 year old daughter and 1 year old son. They made sure we had stair gates, highchair and cots etc. The open plan accommodation was very clean and contemporary whilst maintaining a relaxing cosy feel. The views over the lake where we watched the water skiers perform was great, and having the facilities of the brasserie next door was also very welcome. The food in the brasserie was excellent for anyone who fancies eating out, and not having to travel too far! There was also a great fish & chip shop and various pubs within a reasonable walking distance. There are so many attractions within a short drive of the lodge that we visited including the man made beach, Cotswold wild life park, farms and the fabulous village of Bourton on the Water. All in all, we would have no hesitation in recommending to any of our friends and plan to return at some point in the near future. |

This is a very well fitted house in an ideal location where you can sit out overlooking the lake watching the water sports during the day and the wildlife at night. The house has been recently refurbished to an excellent standard with the added benefit of wifi which certainly helps keeps everyone connected. There is a great bar and restaurant next door and the landlord is really helpful. The ski school is really good and we learnt to slalom in just two lessons. The kids can also use the ringos behind the speedboat which is super fun. There is plenty to do in the local area and with such a good house we will certainly be back. |
