DIRECTIONS TO THE LOWER MILL ESTATE:

• M4 Junction 15 Swindon
• North on A419 to Cirencester
• Turn left to B4696 Spine Road. Signposted to South Cerney
• Go straight over crossroads, following signs to Somerford Keynes
• After 1½ miles turn left down Mill Lane
• Drive down Mill Lane and enter the estate through the cream gates

DIRECTIONS FROM THE M5:
___________________________________

Leave the M5 at Junction 11A whether you are coming from the North or the South and head along the A417Cirencester/Swindon direction. After approximately 16 miles on the A419,
take the Spine Road junction, signposted for the Cotswold Water Park. Head towards Ashton Keynes and Oaksey.

Continue for about 1¼ miles until you reach a staggered cross roads (signposted Oaksey), go straight over and Lower Mill Estate is on the left after approximately 1½ miles. Turn left into the lane and continue until you reach the second set of gates on your right hand side, which are ornamental cream gates, decorated with bull rushes.

Kemble Railway Station is on the main line from London. The journey takes around 1 hour 15 minutes from London Paddington. Lower Mill Estate is then a ten minute drive from the station.

“Fantastic uk getaway!” Had an amazing 3 nights in Osprey lodge on a lovey sunny weekend. Our group of 6 plus an 8month old were well catered. Lovely community feel and very clean. The staff are extremely helpful and Both Tim and Jamie were amazing and helped us emmensley when one of our group fell ill. There's plenty to do the pool and spa is fantastic and nice and clean, we were lucky enough to have a jacuzzi too is definitely recommend this lodge. I can't wait to go back next year!

“Excellent Accommodation, Lovely Setting, Great Break.” Firstly, Lower Mill Farm and the surrounding area is a fantastic area to visit. We traveled with 5 young children and everyone enjoyed their time and wished we could have stayed longer. Osprey Lodge used to be one of the show homes on the Estate and is therefore fitted out to a higher standard than most. The accommodation is very spacious and has more than enough space for our family of 7. The views across Clearwater are fantastic and the Hot Tub is a must. Check all the extra charges and make sure you include the booking fee's etc. The total price still works out about the same if not lower than other accommodation on the estate. I wouldn't bother paying for the Wii as the kids couldn't use it as the batteries were flat !(anyway - far too much to be doing outdoors rather than being on the Wii). Accommodation could use some extra mirrors for the ladies to be able to do hair etc. Master en-suite could benefit with a shower in the bath (the same as the twin en-suite has) Tim and Jamie (on site) were very helpful and flexible with our booking. The Art Spa is fantastic and the heated outdoor pool is lovely even on a cold April day. We would book Lower Mill and Osprey Lodge again, (perhaps for longer than 4 days though!)

“Excellent weekend away....” Just got home from a lovely birthday weekend celebration at Osprey Lodge. The lodge was in a great spot, nice and clean, had everything we needed including a hot tub which the kids loved! As we had rain and snow nearly all weekend the lodge was big enough that we didn't feel ontop of each other. The Spa was excellent, lovely clean facilities and within walking distance of the lodge even for little kids. Farm shop had a great stock of homemade cakes for a rainy afternoon.... Just wish we could have stayed longer to explore!

“A weekend is not long enough...” We enjoyed a lovely weekend break in this beautiful part of the country. There are so many places to visit, a weekend was not long enough. The lodge is outstanding & hi-spec in every way, as described. It is very spacious, comfortable and well equipped with luxury "extras" ; hiring the hot tub is a must! The location and views from the lodge make it very special too. The management were very helpful on arrival but equally non intrusive which is what we enjoy when self catering. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed the break and we plan to return later in the year. Thank you so much.

“Simply Beautiful. Fantastic House & Location. We couldn't have wished for more.” This is the 3rd time we've been to Lower Mill estate but the 1st time at this particular property. I thought the other 2 properties we have stayed in were fantastic but this one was by far the best. The facilities, decor and layout of the house were excellent. It had everything we needed. The Hot tub provided an extra special touch especially as we had beautiful clear winter evenings to enjoy it. A real treat. I loved the gas "log burner" as it usually takes me most of the evening to light and we didn't have to carry the heavy bag of wood back from the shop. From a practical point of view, even though the upside down houses are quite quirky It was so much easier having the living area on the ground floor and the bedrooms upstairs. The hall way was really spacious which is ideal when having to take off walking boots, big coats and leaving sports and swimming bags etc. It was so much easier being able to bring shopping straight into the kitchen rather than making sure your shoes are off before going upstairs to the kitchen as in most of the other houses. My 6 year old son would like to add, the pool is really good and the globe chair in the lounge is great for sitting in when playing on his ipod! In a nut shell - WE LOVED IT

“Great venue for weekend or longer holiday” Outstanding house in beautiful setting with great local facilities. In spite of really cold weather in mid February our family party from grandparents to grand children had a memorable weekend at Osprey Lodge. The house is both stunning and practical with four good bedrooms, including a huge master suite and with very large lounge / dining area which everyone appreciated. Views over the lake were enchanting and although we obviously had neighbours were never heard them. The Spa centre was great for swimmers of all ages and only 5 mins away. The on site shop was small but imaginatively stocked and everyone was helpful and welcoming. We will certainly come again.

“We wouldn't want to stay anywhere else now we've spent our holiday in Osprey Lodge” This stunning house really has everything we needed. It was our third stay in Lower Mill Estate, and even though all the houses there are lovely, Osprey Lodge was faultless. We have 3 young children and the enclosed patio was fantastic and enabled the kids to watch the lake and wildlife in complete safety. We even had a mother swan and her cygnet visit us most days which was wonderful. Every luxury is provided in the house - huge plasma tv, DVD player, music system, wii, barbecue, hammock, patio furniture, dishwasher, washer-dryer and everything we needed for our baby (high chair, cots etc). Once the kids were in bed, we managed to get some real r&r in the hot tub looking out at the beautiful surroundings, before cooking up a feast in the kitchen which has everything needed. The location near Cirencester is perfect and the house was only a short walk away from the luxury spa and facilities which we attended everyday. And finally, the master bedroom with its lovely balcony and four poster super king bed was superb. We spent our entire time there planning when we would return! Thanks to Tim and Jamie for the great service and ease of booking.

“Excellent rental with the WOW factor” Stayed with the family for a short break at Osprey Lodge and was contacted in advance of the day of stay to double check booking requirements and ETA. Meeted and Greeted by Jamie on the day who was very hospitable and not at all intrusive. Despite previous concerns over an unnescessary level of beaurocratic paper work with the T&C's I found Jamie's attitude very relaxed. The lodge is as described. simply STUNNING and very clean. I would struggle to find fault, if I were to try then these points are perhaps the ones I would point out - no coffee, tea and milk on arrival, not great quality toliet roll, an extra TV for the KIDS/Wife wouldn't go a miss (had to fight for the football), a couple of minor furniture faults (handle missing on a cupboard, no mirror downstairs and too high upstairs etc), for the allegy conscious all the bedding and cushions are feather down, but with all said and done this is a SUPERB property with an outstanding SPA complex. Beaware adults ONLY swim between 8am to 10 am and the paper work that had the pass key code for the lodge and key safe were out of date.

“A stunning property in an amazing location” We stayed at the Osprey Lodge after a recommendation from a family member who had been. The lodge itself was stunning, beautifully furnished with a gorgeous log burning fire that made it very cosy in the evenings. There was a lovely little farm shop at the entrance of the estate where we bought a few bits, then went to Waitrose about 10 mins away to do a bigger shop. Had fun at the Spa, the kids loved the heated outdoor pool, couldn't get them out even when it rained! The Wii was a great idea, it kept the kids entertained whilst we enjoyed a glass of wine on the terrace looking out across the lake. Bliss! Would definitely recommend the Osprey Lodge, we have already booked a return visit.

“A Fantastic Weekend!” Stayed for the weekend with a group of friends and had a fantastic time. The house was beautiful, spotlessly clean and equipped with everything you could possibly need. We paid extra for the hot tub on the terrace, well worth the money, everyone loved it! The Spa was amazing, a definite favourite with the girls. Make sure you visit some of the country pubs nearby, I can recommend the Baker's Arms...the bangers and mash was delicious!

“We felt like millionaires for the weekend!” We felt like millionaires for the weekend, hauled up in our designer pad, with a world class spa within a minutes walk from our front door. We enjoyed long walks around the many lakes, with the added benefit of the terrain being very flat, sampled the bird hides and even caught site of the famous, but elusive beavers! We considered ourselves to be very fortunate, as we understand sightings are very rare! What a treat and what a weekend, thank you. “awesome” Osprey Lodge was very much a last minute decision, as we fancied a quick last minute getaway and we spotted the web site and property whilst searching on Google. I have to say that we somewhat hit the jackpot with this booking, the house is truly amazing, we have never seen anything quite like it before, the private estate is simply idyllic and the onsite spa, which was just 2 minutes from our front door, totally awesome. Fabulous holiday and we would have absolutely no hesitation in recommending Osprey Lodge to other potential guests, it is real gem! “Fantastic!!!” This house is remarkable, such a quirky design, with its angled walls, zinc roof and smooth rendered walls. There is glass everywhere on the rear of the house, affording beautiful views across the nature reserve and down the lake and afar. Also, great customer service and very friendly people to deal with made the whole experience a real delight. We will most certainly be returning and can't think of how you could better the Osprey Lodge.
