Stayed here with extended family, including young children and found it to be the perfect place for a big get-together. Accomodation was spacious, yet cosy, clean and beautifully decorated. The house is well appointed to cater for large groups, with a large dining room and plenty of bathrooms. The village was quaint and lovely to walk around. We made use of the local playground for the children, and found the local post-office to be convenient for basic supplies. Nearby Tetbury was a delight to visit, great to browse the boutiques and antique market. Would definitely recommend staying here, it's great value for money. |

11 friends and I went for a long weekend to the cottage and had the best time. The cottage is stunning with plenty of space with a big table in the dining room to accomodate all of us for very socialable mealtimes and boardgames and and a big comfy lounge for more socialising. The garden was also perfect for entertaining in the sunshine with a BBQ on the go. The pool was also great fun and plenty warm enough. The owners hospitality was lovely too, with fresh farm eggs making all the difference to our breakfasts. The touches such as the decor, the games, books and maps in the cottage all add to the experience. The village is stunning and the local pub and the bar staff very friendly with delicious food and you can walk from the village out into the lovely countryside. Would go back in a flash. |
