Literally yards from the Teifi Gorge which is renowned for its superb salmon fishing, riverside and woodland walks, castle, coracle men and heritage canoe trips, this large semi-detached former quarryman's cottage makes a fabulous holiday home.

Cilgerran village has a shop, post office, garage, restaurant and three welcoming pubs.

The Teifi Marshes Wildlife Park is about a mile away and provides hides for watching all sorts of wildlife including otters and even water buffalo!

Cardigan town is about 3 miles away and has a larger selection of shops.

Poppit Sands is 6 miles away and is a blue flag beach.

A side door leads into the very spacious tiled kitchen and breakfast room.

The KITCHEN is fitted with a range of units incorporating a range cooker (gas), fridge, dishwasher, microwave oven and a breakfast table with 4 chairs.

The UTILITY ROOM has a washing machine, tumble dryer, freezer, boiler, barbecue and space for storing the garden chairs.

There is a CLOAKROOM with WC.

SITTING / DINING ROOM has a woodburning stove making it a warm and welcoming family room. The sitting area has two comfortable sofas, an armchair, coffee table, 32" TV with freeview, DVD player, selection of DVDs, book and games. There is a telephone for incoming calls. The original front door opens into this room.

The DINING AREA has a large dining table with 8 chairs.

First Floor.

There are three bedrooms.

BEDROOM 1 has views of the gorge and is furnished with a metal king size bed, bedside tables, wardrobe and a sofa bed for occasional use. It also has an EN-SUITE shower room with suite of shower cubicle, WC, bidet and hand basin.

BEDROOM 2 has a double bed, hanging rail, chest and a view over the garden.

BEDROOM 3 has a set of 3' bunk beds, hanging space, chest, DVD player and views of the gorge.

All the beds are made up with fresh linen for your arrival.

The FAMILY BATHROOM has a suite of bath, WC and hand basin.

Garden and Parking

There is off road parking for up to 3 cars and plenty more in the car park at the bottom of the hill.

There is a sheltered patio area just outside the kitchen and an attractive lawn area to the side of the cottage with garden furniture.

It is accessed by steps.

Other information

There is oil central heating throughout which is included in the rental from May to September and charged for at a flat rate of £35 per week at all other times. Please pay at the cottage.

A complimentary basket of logs is provided for you and more are available locally.

A cot, highchair and stairgate are available.

Towels are available to hire at £3 per guest.

The cottage has been wi-fi enabled.

No smoking.

Pets are welcome.

A couple of fishing rods are supplied.

The Pembrokeshire region

Set on the North Pembrokeshire and South Ceredigion borders great for exploring the countryside and coastline of both counties. And just a short drive to the county of Carmarthenshire if you visit Cenarth Falls. Ideal base for all and in a quiet rural village location.


Visit the local Wildlife Centre in the village. Or perhaps catch a Shakespearian performance at the castle on a summers evening.

Or enjoy take away local fish and chips from one of the villages three pubs.

A stones throw away from riverside walks, cycling, fishing or canoeing. Just a short 6 mile drive to the coast to enjoy our beautiful

un-commercialised coastline.

"Nice location but in need of TLC"
