Home description
Recently renovated, the property is light and spacious and boasts stone mullion windows and open fires on the ground floor as well as a games room. Set off a main road, it is conveniently positioned for visiting the historic town of Ludlow, one of the most picturesque towns in the area. Arden House is situated close to the Welsh Borders, where there is a wealth of walking and cycling to be enjoyed in the stunning countryside, with an abundance of wildlife to be spotted. One of the best ways to enjoy this area is along the renowned Offa’s Dyke, which runs past Montgomery - also well worth a visit. An easy drive leads to one of the most interesting places in the Severn Valley - Ironbridge Gorge, the collective name for a cluster of small villages huddled together close to the town of Telford.

The Heart of England / Peak District / Shropshire region
LUDLOW Made up of half-timbered buildings, packed around a craggy stone castle, and with rural Shropshire forming a dreamy backdrop, Ludlow also offers plenty of shops, restaurants, theatres and cinemas. The beautiful Ludlow Racecourse with a golf course in the centre is an enjoyable and informal day’s racing in a friendly club atmosphere.
Church Stretton area
CHURCH STRETTON Church Stretton is a picturesque town with plenty for visitors to see and do. It is particularly popular with walkers, as well as those who enjoy other outdoor pursuits such as mountain biking and horse riding. In Church Stretton itself there is a recreational centre with a swimming pool, tennis courts and golf course. There are any number of walks in all directions from the town - one side is home to a variety of pretty valley walks, all of which lead you to the top of Long Mynd, while in another direction there are more challenging walks, offering entirely different, but equally stunning views of Long Mynd.
