The Back Wing has wonderful sea views is quite self contained, has its own private garden, sunny patio area and entrance and is not overlooked by the other Wing.

The Back Wing of Pen y Graig.
The quarry tiled floors and beamed ceilings downstairs give this Wing its rustic charm. All the rooms are furnished in a traditional style and have sea views - with the exception of the shower room.
The living/dining room was originally the farmhouse kitchen so the wood burning stove stands where the kitchen range once was in the inglenook. A complimentary basket of logs is provided for your arrival. This room now has a comfy sofa, rug, wooden farmhouse chairs, old pine wall cupboards and dining table. A 22" lcd TV, DVD player, cd/radio, large bookcase full of books, brochures and information on places to visit are there for your use.
The hand-made farmhouse style kitchen is spacious, has an electric fan oven, ceramic hob, fridge and microwave. Off the kitchen is a utility area with Belfast sink and washing machine and a shower room with step-in shower, basin, w/c, electric shaver point and overhead blow heater.
Towels are available to hire.
Upstairs are two comfortable,spacious bedrooms. The double bed has a king size duvet. Both rooms have wonderful panoramic views over Church Bay and Holy Island where you can watch the ferries leaving for Dublin.
In the porch is a freezer, tumble dryer, garden chairs and BBQ and plenty of hooks for coats and space for wellies and boots.
The south-west facing patio is a wonderful suntrap and has a driftwood beam for a bench and a picnic table.
To the rear of the property is an enclosed lawned garden for the Back Wing.
Electric convector heaters are fitted in all the rooms.

- 3 night break is 75% of the weekly price

A deposit of 1/3rd is required to book, with the final payment due 6 weeks before the start of the holiday.
Electricity is charged by meter reading at the end of the stay.

The first £25 of electricity costs are included in the rental price for The Back Wing during the Christmas and New Year weeks

The Church Bay area
Church Bay beach (a blue flag resort) is just 500 metres away. A safe, sandy beach flanked by low rocks with pools and backed by a ridge of large pebbles and boulders. Smaller coves and caves can be easily reached, if you explore.
The Coastal Path runs along the cliffs behind the beach, where it is possible to spot seals, porpoises, choughs and buzzards.
The Lobster Pot Restaurant and Wavecrest Cafe (both with in and outdoor seating) offer a variety of meals or snacks during the summer months.
The Church Bay Inn has a sunny patio with panoramic sea views - serves drinks only.

Church Bay is on the west coast of Anglesey, a 15 minute drive from the A55 dual carriageway at Valley.
Manchester Airport and John Lennon Liverpool Airport - 115 miles, a 2.5 hour drive.
Holyhead Rail Station - 12 miles, a 25 minute drive.
Holyhead Ferry Terminal -12 miles. Ireland by fast ferry, 90 minutes.
Car hire available from Holyhead.
Nearest bus stop is in Rhydwyn - half mile. The 61 bus service is quite limited and unless you plan to walk a great deal it is not recommended to stay without the use of a car.
