About the home

The Retreat is an end terraced mews style cottage nestled in a secluded cul de sac in Christchurch, Dorset. The accommodation consists of an open plan living area with vaulted ceilings and skylight windows creating a light and airy environment. Two bedrooms accommodate four people and there is a three piece luxury bathroom with shower.

The cottage is located a stones throw away from Stanpit Marsh Nature Reserve and Christchurch’s historic town centre is a 15 minute walk or a 5 minute cycle ride away. Mudeford Quay and Avon Beach, popular with windsurfers and sailors, is a 5 minute drive. The New Forest, Poole and Bournemouth are all a short drive away. Buses to Bournemouth and Poole stop at the end of the road.

Quilts and pillows are provided but please bring your own bed linen and towels.
Internet access is available via Wi-Fi as long as you bring your own Laptop. No computer equipment is left at the cottage.

By Car:
Christchurch is approximately a one and a half hour drive south of London. Follow the M3 South, at Junc 13/14 take the M27 Westbound. Come off M27 at Junc 1 and then take the A337 to Lyndurst. At Lyndhurst take A35 to Christchurch.

By Train:
Christchurch Railway Station is 1 mile away and is operated by Southwest Trains.

The nearest Coach Station is in Bournemouth. You can then take a train to Christchurch which takes less than 10 minutes.

By Air:
