Christchurch is famous for its magnificent Priory Church which dominates the Priory Quarter; the older part of the town with its many cosy cafe's and fine restaurants. The Quay and waterside walks contribute towards Christchurch's unique character. There is an interesting programme of festivals and events throughout the summer and held on a Monday, the town boasts the largest all year street market on the south coast.
