Bluebell Corner provides comfortable accommodation with private parking and all the facilities for a fabulous holiday. The house is centrally based in Mudeford between Highcliffe and Christchurch giving easy access to the abundance of activities and facilities on offer.
The safe and welcoming sands of Avon beach are only 8 mins drive away and a leisurely 30 minute stroll for those of you who want to have a break from driving. It is an ideal base for a relaxing holiday and exploring the areas natural beauty. Mudeford Quay and the historic old town and Quay of Christchurch with its many family restaurants and the New Forest are all only minute’s drive away. A ten minute drive will take you to the cliff tops at Highcliffe with spectacular views, Sandy Beaches, Historic Highcliffe Castle and it's small but interesting village of Shops and Restaurants.
A short walk away you have excellent local bus services which provide access to all surrounding areas. There is also the popular Somerford beefeater, excellent for family dining, a Sainsbury’s superstore, Haskins Garden centre with feature maze and a further small parade of shops including a fish shop/café.
Bournemouth, Southbourn and Boscombe are within 30 mins drive. While Poole is less than an hour away.

Bluebell Corner is a Self contained 2 bedroom Bungalow which is attached to the main house. It has a Modern Kitchen and Bathroom. The Kitchen has a fan assisted built under oven and a built in worktop ceramic hob. microwave oven, Toaster, Electric Kettle, and a range of Crockery, glasses, Cutlery and ovenware as well as other useful kitchen accessories. The large picture window overlooks the garden.
There is a Large very comfortable lounge with 32" LCD HD Colour TV with Freeview , DVD player, CD player, and a range of Board games, books and DVDs to keep you entertained while you relax in between exploring and days out. The lounge has dual aspect views over the garden with a variety of Mature Trees, shrubs and Lawn which are frequently visited by some of Dorsets prettiest birds including Goldfinches, Greenfinch, Chaffinch, Blue tit, Bullfinch, Nuthatches, Bramblings, Dunnocks to name just a few. We have even been priveleged to be visited by Woodpeckers and have resident Robins.
The two bedrooms comprise one double, and a single. Both have ample wardrobe and drawer storage. The beds will be made up with Duvet/pillows Sheets and covers with spare blankets available if required.
The bathroom has a bath with shower fitted over, Pedestal sink basin and close coupled low level dual flush toilet, Electric extractor fan and Vinyl flooring. Bath towels and Hand towels will be provided for each of the guests booked.
We provide a comprehensive range of information for the area including the various forms of transport available. You will also have Fresh Milk, Tea, Sugar and Coffee to help get your holiday off to a relaxing start.
Laundry facilities are available on request at the main house. The Bungalow does not have it's own washing machine.

Garden table complete with Parasol and chairs, Sun Loungers and a Hammock seat are all provided. The Garden benefits from Sunshine,on sunny days, for most of the day and there are natural shaded areas provided by the trees. Perfect for Alfresco dinning and relaxing during the day or, a pleasant evening sipping wine and supper before retiring.
Children over the age of 12 accepted.
Booking Form together with 25% of the Rental price is required to secure the rental period.
Balance of Rental price must be made 8 weeks prior to occupancy along with a security deposit of £100 against damages.
Bookings made less than eight weeks from the rental will require the Full payment and security deposit to be forwarded with the booking forms.
No bookings can be confirmed without the relevant booking forms and deposit.
Arrival time for the first day booked is 3pm. You will be greeted and given the keys at the property.
You are required to vacate the property by 11am on Departure day and are asked to hand back the keys before leaving.
Deposits will be returned following successful inspection which is carried out after departure to establish the property meets with agreed Terms and conditions. Deposits may be retained in the event of excessive damage or mis-use of the accommodation. And also in the event of meeting the reasonable cost to replace lost keys.
This accommodation is strictly non-Smoking. And No Pets Sorry. No bookings will be taken for Hen/Stag groups.

Christchurch is on Dorset’s south coast and has a reputation for good weather. It has its own spectacular natural harbour and offers the peace and tranquillity of the coast and open spaces. It has a fascinating heritage including the 11th century Priory church and Norman castle ruins.
The safe clean sands of Avon beach,which has its own parking alongside, has excellent facilities including a café, shop and toilets with disabled facilities. Beach huts, canoes and deck chairs can all be hired. There are breathtaking views across to the Isle of Wight and beyond.
Just a stroll along from the beach is Mudeford quay with year round entertainment including boat trips, RNLI fundays, seasonal funfair, fishing and crabbing, a favourite with the children. There is also a fresh fish shop, café, gift shop, the RNLI station and a renowned Inn with plenty of tables outside so the whole family can enjoy a drink and a meal whilst soaking up the view and the atmosphere.
5 minutes away is Christchurch quay and Harbour with private Yatch moorings, self drive hire boats, Sight seeing and Fishing boat trips. Also a bandstand, tea shop, riverside restaurant, open air paddling pool and playground set on a beautiful green ideal for picnics. Leading from the quay is the town centre with all of its charm and 11th century Priory church, Norman castle ruins, Red house museum and Museum of Electricity. There are a wide range of shops, excellent Restaurants and Bars as well as its very own local Regent centre Cinema and Theatre.
We have the large Two Rivers meet leisure centre which has two swimming pools, badminton and squash courts, a 9 hole golf course, Trampoline, Gym and fitness suite. It also runs a programme of activities for children during the school holidays.
Within one hour drive you have access to the Renowned Vibrant Night clubs, Theatres, Bars, Restaurants and Cinemas of Bournemouth and Poole. Along with the wonderful beaches, Parks and other attractions including Bowling, Paintballing and the Dry Ski complex at Matchams park.
For Nature lovers there is the extensive New Forest and Nature reserves with their fascinating Wildlife, Animals, Botanica, and Endless Parks and Nature trails. And of course the Famed Jurassic coastline of Dorset.

"A very pleasant oasis in Christchurch near Bournemouth"
My wife and I, together with our young teenage son, had a very pleasant five nights stay at Bluebell Corner between the 5th & 10th August 2013.
Imbedded within a housing estate this is a very pleasant oasis, and surprisingly we found it to be a very quiet location. The accommodation was very clean and well equipped. It's location in the Christchurch area of Bournemouth was a great base (providing you had a car), and we were out each day from 10.30am going off in all directions. The building itself is attached to the owners property, although from inside the property you have difficulty to see his house due to the angle between the two properties. From Bluebell Corner you look out over and have access to, a lovely tranquil old English style garden equipped with nice garden furniture for your use.
The owner Mr John Chapman was a very pleasant man who kept himself to himself, but, was there if you needed him, and was very friendly and helpful.

Just goes to show that you can't always judge a book by its cover!
Bluebell corner is also ideally situated for the New Forest travel to Bournemouth and further coastal areas like Lymington as well as being close to the local beach - if you feel like stretching your legs.

"Home from Home"
When we drove up our initial impression was not great, we were in a housing estate and it looked like we were to stay in the garage !!!
But when we were shown round the bungalow (next to the garage) we were very pleasantly surprised. The accommodation was spotless, well equipped and very comfortable. The garden is peaceful and a good sun trap, a nice place to relax.
The owner ( who lives in the house next door) was friendly and helpful and did all he could to make our stay enjoyable.
The location is great for the shops with a Lidl and a Sainsbury's within 1/2 a mile and lots of pubs nearby serving good food.
The area has lots to see and do. We enjoyed our stay very much.
