The Buckshaw apartment is a luxury home away from home. It's ideal for corporate short or long term lets, great for visiting relatives or a relaxing stay in a very handy central location, minutes away from the motorway network and mainline rail station. Why stay in an impersonal hotel room or lodge with the family, when you can have all the comforts and peace of home in your own secure surroundings?
The apartment is fully equipped for all your needs during your stay. It's full of the extra touches that make life a little easier, from a good supply of bin bags to a nail file. The dining kitchen has a Tassimo coffee maker, oven/hob, microwave, toaster, fridge and washing machine and of course a table and four chairs.

The double bed in the main bedroom has a memory foam mattress topper for extra comfort and both bedrooms are made up ready for your arrival using quality cotton linens and towels. The main bedroom has an en suite shower room and there is a second family bathroom with bath.
Wireless internet and telephone calls are provided free of charge. The comfortable lounge has a fireplace with a decorative stove, there is also an X-Box360, a wide screen LCD TV with Freeview and a DVD player. All the comforts of home!
The apartment has a key coded entry with entry telephone.
Kitchen: Washer, fridge, cutlery and glasses, microwave, cooker and hob, kettle, toaster, pots and pans, complimentary tea & coffee, and you may even find a bottle of wine in the wine rack.
Lounge: Leather sofas and side coffee tables, fireplace, wide screen LCD TV, DVD, X-Box360, wireless internet, direct dial telephone. We have a range of DVDs and XBox360 games for your enjoyment.
Master Bedroom: Double bed, built in wardrobes. En suite shower and toilet.
Second Bedroom: Two single beds.
Bathroom: Bath and toilet.

Off street parking for one vehicle is provided free of charge.

To make sure the apartment is in pristine condition for your arrival, check in is at 4.00pm and check out is at 10.00am (unless previously agreed)
Strictly no smoking.
The property is in a quiet residential area and not suitable for late night parties, loud music or boisterous behaviour.
Suitable for couples and families. Strictly no groups under 25.
We welcome well behaved owners with one small clean dog.
Conditions
Check In is at 4pm and Check Out is 10.00am.
On change-over days It takes time to clean the property thoroughly between guests, making the property sparkling clean ready for your arrival. If an early/late check in or departure is required then we will do all we can to facilitate you. However, this may not always be possible. If and early/late check in or departure is vital, then we recommend guests book the extra night.

The Northern England / Lancashire region


Chorley is a small, friendly market town near Preston. Flanked by the wild, beautiful West Pennine moors to the East and the fertile Lancashire Plain to the West. It's ideally placed for visits to Manchester's busy shopping districts and not to mention the Trafford Centre with it's wall to wall shopping and entertainment.
Blackburn, buzzing Blackpool and sophisticated Southport are within a half hours drive and the newly created university City of Preston is only minutes away.
The spectacular Lake District is only an hour away up the M6, ideal for a day out walking. That said, Lancashire is a beautiful county in its own right, with stone villages, historic mills and beautiful rolling moorland. It's often overlooked, which is a shame because we have everything you could possibly want right here on our doorstep!
The Chorley / Buckshaw Village area
Chorley has a number of restaurants ranging from Italian, Chinese, Indian and traditional Lancashire. The newly opened Bobbin Mill in Buckshaw Village is just a 5 minute walk from the apartment.
Local Amenities include; 18 hole golf courses at Duxbury Golf Course and Chorley Golf Club. A well equipped leisure centre is in Chorley if you fancy a swim and a workout. High street shopping is very well catered for in Chorley, Preston and Manchester and, if you are looking for something different, why not visit Botany Bay? It's the converted mill by the canal and M61. You can't miss it!
Nearby is the famous historic Astley Hall Museum and Art Gallery set in Astley Park. The park is open all year to the public and the house is well worth a visit. Chorley itself ,dates from the 12th century, and has a wealth of history and interesting historical sites.

Buckshaw Village is perfectly located for access to all of the North West. It’s just two miles from Chorley and Leyland, around 10 miles from Preston city centre and less than 30 miles from Manchester. Great for exploring the coast and the beaches too as Blackpool is only half an hour away.
It benefits from excellent road and rail connections, with plans under way for a new railway station within Buckshaw Village itself to provide a direct service onto the Preston-Manchester (and Manchester Airport) line.
The nearest mainline stations are presently , Euxton and Chorley, both are a short bus/taxi ride away.
The village is well served by buses. You can get to Chorley, Preston and Leyland and it's only 2 minutes to the bus stop.

Lovely apartment, really comfortable and clean! We usually stay at the travelodge, but having an apartment all to ourselves was a much better option it was a real treat!
