The Rhone / French Alps / Ardeche region
Mediterranean climate. The chateau has best of Ardeche and Drome as it sits only 10 minutes west of the Rhone. Being on the edge of the Rhone valley we have again best of both - valley, Massif Centrale, Pre-Alpes, valley of the Isere. Away from it all, on the edge of everything!
Chomerac area
Canoe, cycle, walk, eat, wine-taste. Half an hour - Valence, one hour- Lyon and Avignon so day trips are easy and there is lots of variety. Golf course too. Lots of lovely towns and villages to visit in the Ardeche and Drome and down the Rhone valley.
How to get there
Fly to Lyon or Nimes. Take a train (fast TGV) to Valence. Drive and take J16 on the A7 (Loriol) - only 10 minutes away. You will need a car.
