We stayed here for a weekend last summer with friends, family and kiddies. The location of the cottage next to the canal is perfect - you can watch the world go by and it is really peaceful. The cottage has everything you need and is really well-equipped, clean and modern but it retains it's quaint charm. We had a BBQ in the back garden which is really pretty and private. The cottage is in a super location - we had a lovely meal in the friendly pub up the road and went on super walks around the canals, Chirk Castle and surrounding hills. Booking was easy and the owners were great with the communication. We will return again for another family get together. |

We stayed at 3 Aqueduct Cottages for a week in the Summer ...we really enjoyed the charming cottage deco, its welcoming atmosphere and the superb location. If you are looking for a relaxing get away from it all holiday, yet want to have lots of interesting adventures nearby then 3 Aqueduct Cottages is the ideal place. The cottage is delightful; steeped in old charm and foosteps away from the canal, where you can watch the barges stroll by and smile as the ducks waddle at your feet. Walk a few hundred yards one way and you come to the most amazing aqueduct and historic canal path, yards the other way pubs and restaurants for a tasty evening meal. We loved the comfort of the cottage; tastefully furnished/decorated, clean and cozy with enough room for a large family. The cottage has a very well resourced kitchen, 2 bathrooms/shower rooms, and a lovely lounge with TV, videos, books, etc all the items we needed; just like home. We greatly enjoyed the very private back garden and enjoyed a few evening meals out on the patio. The Bridge Inn is a short walk down the hill and well worth a visit...we were warmly welcomed by the locals there. Chirk town is not far away either, with post office, spar, chemist, pubs and a few shops. The cottage is very close to Llangollen and Wrexham and many other interesting towns. If ever we are in the area again, we will definitely book 3 Aqueduct Cottages |

We have had a lovely holiday.... it feels like home we look forward to coming each year and it just gets better thank you for letting us stay.
We have walked up to Chirk Castle.... cycled to llangollen along the tow path.... played Golf at the chik course (very welcoming) and spent many hours with a glass of wine in the garden we have had the best holiday ever. Can we come back?
The weather has been great and we have not done very much except sunbathe in the garden walk to the village for provisions and BBQ'd. I love watching the boats go by and everyone is so friendly. Your little cottage has been the best it is so beautifully done it is a credit to you both.
