Offas Dyke Yurts is 5 miles from the small market town of Oswestry in North Shropshire and 40 minutes drive from the historic towns of Shrewsbury to the south and Chester to the west.

Perfect for families and couples alike, the Yurts provide an idyllic getaway in fun, quirky surroundings. If you're looking for somewhere a bit different, in beautiful surroundings, then Offas Dyke Yurts are ideal.

The accommodation comprises a deluxe double yurt with a 16' living space and adjoining 12' double bedroom, which together can accommodate up to 4 adults and 2 children.

The interior of the yurts is tastefully decorated to a high standard with a luxurious and cosy feel., Beautiful handmade wooden furniture add to the uniqueness of the accommodation, and it has everything you need for a comfortable self-contained break.

Whilst the beauty of the yurts is the ability to truly get away from it all, we do offer some home comforts in the way of electric lighting and a fridge.

The Heart of England / Peak District / Shropshire region

Shropshire is the undiscovered county of England. Bordered to the west by Wales and to the north by Cheshire,we have some of the most unspoilt countryside in the country. There is easy access to the historic towns of Shrewsbury and Chester and within Shropshire we have a wealth of beautiful market towns small picturesque villages and rolling hills and valleys.
We have many National Trust properties to visit and just over the Welsh border are the castles of Chirk and Powys.

In our immediate locality is an impressive network of canals where boats can be hired. We are within walking distance of Offas Dyke Path, the National Trail, which provides miles of walking in both directions, and
the famous Iron Bridge Gorge museums (including the victorian village at Blists Hill) are 45mins drive away near
Telford.
We have local riding stables and fishing lakes and even our own mini lake district a few miles away in Ellesmere

“beautiful yurt, fantastic facilities and amazing views!” We stayed here for 2 nights in Feb as a treat for my 12 year olds birthday as thought it would be a fun experience. It totally exceeded our expectations and now we want to stay in yurts all the time! I do worry that we have been spoilt and this may be one of the best though! There was so much space and could easily have slept 5/6 as there is a double bed in the bedroom part and a huge sofa bed in the living room area and 2 matresses under the bed and plenty of floor space to sleep. The long burner was fab and kept us warm even in feb and the double bed had an electric blanket which our boys thought was an amazing treat. There was a lovely vase of flowers on the table as we arrived so it felt so homely and the yurt provides all the cooking equipment you could need and great to have own toilet, shower and sink area all just behind the yurt. The owners were extremely helpful and my 6 year old son enjoyed watching their chickens and helping them collect their eggs in the morning! It was such a lovely spot and we could have sat on the decked area and looked at the views all day! We did a lovely cross country walk from the yurt along offas dyke to chirk castle which I would definately recommend if it's a dry day and the grounds at chirk castle are great. Our 2 boys did enjoy just hanging out at the yurt as just outside is your own play area with a trampoline, basketball, swings and sandpit so we did actually get some adult time! I can't recommend this yurt highly enough and it is great that you can just stay for a night which makes it a good place to go for a short weekend sometimes. We will definately be back for another visit!
