The house garden is a haven for wildlife so full of birdsong and you may see our pheasant, deer, badgers, foxes, squirrels, a hedgehog or Mr Mole. Your own garden is small and very private. The situation is very quiet and peaceful, save for the church bell practice on Wednesdays or the children playing outside at the school up the road in Back Street, in term time and of course the odd mower in summer. The hill above the village is the highest point in Warwickshire and there is wonderful walking country all around, the whole area being criss crossed with walking and bridle paths; you can wander through open fields, along escarpments and through wooded areas or just meander on the many village footpaths. A little stream trickles through the village and a mini-waterfall cascades from the restored medieval fish ponds which are owned by the manor house.
