About the home

This mid terraced character cottage is prettily and thoughtfully decorated and furnished in traditional style, with beams and an open fire, yet offers the convenience of a modern kitchen and bathroom. There is quick and easy access to Stow on the Wold, Bourton on the Water and, of course, Stratford Upon Avon. Country markets, National Trust properties and welcoming village’s inns are all close by.

Manor Farm Cottage will comfortably accommodate 4 people. The interior consists of a lounge / diner, kitchen, bathroom and shower over bath, toilet and basin. There are two bedrooms one double and one twin bedroom.

A supermarket is located 3 miles away, and a pub / restaurant is 5 minutes walk away. Manor farm cottage is equipped with night storage heating, electric heating and an open fire in the lounge. All fuel and power are included in the rent together with bed linen and towels.

The Central England / Cotswolds / Cheltenham / Gloucester region

The Cotswolds, full of sleepy villages and beautiful countryside are known for being typically English. The honey coloured drystone used all over this stunning area of England shows off the beauty of this quaint and sunny region. There is much to do all over the Cotswolds, visit Bath, and spot the falling angel on its cathedral or take a dip in the Roman Baths, potter around the antique shops in Cheltenham,Chipping Campden or Moreton in Marsh, not forgetting Burford, near Oxford, a gloriously perfect remnant of 'real' England.

The Chipping Campden / Stretton on Fosse area

There is quick and easy access to Chipping Campden,Stow on the Wold, Bourton on the Water and, of course,Shakespears Stratford Upon Avon.Warwick Castle.Blenheim Palace.Country markets, National Trust properties and welcoming village inns are all close by.Excellent for country walking and is close to the cotswold way.Cheltenham racecourse is 30 minutes away.

From the North
From Junction 15 of the M40. Take the A429 South (Signposted Cirencester) for about 15 miles. Turn right at the sign for Stretton on Fosse and take the second turn left on the sharp bend by the thatch cottage. Manor farm cottages will be found 30 metres set back on the left. No. 4 is the holiday cottage.

From the South
From Junction 8 of the M40, follow the A40 around the outskirts of Oxford and then take the A44 all the way to Moreton in Marsh. In Moreton turn right onto the A429 and stay on this road for about 5 miles until you see the sign for Stretton on Fosse. Turn left at the sign for Stretton on Fosse and take the second turn left on the sharp bend by the thatch cottage. Manor farm cottages will be found 30 metres set back on the left. No. 4 is the holiday cottage.
