The Central England/Cotswolds region
The Cotswolds, full of sleepy villages and beautiful countryside are known for being typically English. The honey coloured drystone used all over this stunning area of England shows off the beauty of this quaint and sunny region. There is much to do all over the Cotswolds, visit Bath, and spot the falling angel on its cathedral or take a dip in the Roman Baths, potter around the antique shops in Cheltenham,Chipping Campden or Moreton in Marsh, not forgetting Burford, near Oxford, a gloriously perfect remnant of 'real' England.
There is quick and easy access to Chipping Campden,Stow on the Wold, Bourton on the Water and, of course,Shakespears Stratford Upon Avon.Warwick Castle.Blenheim Palace.Country markets, National Trust properties and welcoming village inns are all close by.Excellent for country walking and is close to the cotswold way.Cheltenham racecourse is 30 minutes away.

"Wonderful place to stay"
Manor Farm cottage is very clean, comfortable and delightfully decorated! As foreigners, we were delighted with the typically British decoration and the excellent equipment of the house. The owners are nice enough to provide a welcome basket with goodies inside and milk for the first breakfast, very convenient when you arrive late! The village is really pretty and close to the major cities of the area (Stratford upon Avon, Oxford, Warwick). My daughters just loved Warwick Castle and so did I. I would (and already have) recommend this place to explore the Cotswolds area. We didn't get to meet the owners, which is a pity, but that's the only downside I can see to our stay at Manor Farm Cottage.
